I think that we need to stop aiding countries like that and focus all of our attention on helping out the homeless and hungry in our own respective countries. Unless some natural disaster happens, then we shouldn't help them. The money that we donate to help other countries, is money that could be used to help people within our own borders.

I'm not sure why I put a comma in that last sentence.

so people of your own country are worth more than people from africa?
if you can save 1 man of your country instead of 100 people from africa, is that better?

Is wasting our money on foreign aid more important than maintaining our countries economy. If we waste our money on foreign countries, there won't be any left for us, no money=in deep **** .

I don't think his argument was whether or not one of his own were more important that those of another nation, but what that government feels is needed more so.

For example, towards the end of the Pacific War, the United States figured that they could save more American troops lives by using nuclear weapons on Japan.

This doesn't mean that the individuals who chose this route felt that an American life was more valuable than a Japanese life, it simply shows that the government as a whole must act on behalf of the American people, not for the whole world.

But, as for America, some would argue that the Constitution of the United States applies to all people around the world, but that's another story.

**** you, you selfish prick.

This is what's wrong with the world today. Everybody see the world as "Americans in America, Swedes in Sweden, Africans in Africa and Chinese people in China." Instead of living the way of "The humans and earth".

Borders are just made up, they are something some man long ago decided that we should draw lines on a map and only care about the people in them.

Once you start living your life as if we are all here on this planet together you'll be able to actually benefit the world.
