Sir Bearington. In DnD no one knows you're a bear. really no one

That's cool. Not mine to begin with, and it looks like people look better towards the crazy **** they can pull off in D&D now.

That is the best damn thing ever! I wanted to post some D&D stories of my own in this thread, but they fail in comparison to the glory that is Henderson!

>4E, Slightly altered rules.
>Level 22 Half-Elf Sorcerer. Wild Magic, Essence Mage, Sage of Ages.
>Party comes across some giant river that we have to sneak across.
>Party spends their time building a giant raft to carry the party across the river.
>Party all gets on the raft, except me.
>I begin walking on water beside them (Arcane check) instead.
>I get bored, begin moon-walking across the water (Dexterity, and arcane check).
Not enough.
>I Pick up our Goliath Barbarian and carry him like a princess, still moon-walking across the water (Dexterity, Strength, Endurance, and Arcane check)
This is getting interesting. How far can I take this?
>I make 4 rainbow fireballs, and begin juggling them with my tongue. I am still carrying the Goliath like a princess, and moon-walking across the water (2 Dexterity, 1 Strength, 1 Endurance, 5 Arcane checks).
How am I clearing all these rolls!?
>I am now hopping backwards across the water, hacky-sacking the rainbow fireballs with my feet, carrying the Goliath Barbarian like a princess... and balancing the entire raft, with all my remaining party members on it, on my head (4 Dexterity, 2 Strength, 2 Endurance, 5 Arcane, 1 Acrobatics Checks).
Holy ****.
>DM Rolls a d100.
What are you doing?
>DM rolls perfect 100.
DM?
>"A magical rainbow flying trout of doom jumps out of the water just behind your foot, roll to evade."
Wut?
>5 Dexterity, 2 Strength, 2 Endurance, 5 Arcane Checks, 1 Perception, 2 Acrobatics Checks.
>Clear all checks but a single acrobatics: the one to dodge the actual fish.

The One-Man Alpha Circus of Magic Incarnate was stopped by tripping of a fish, all because my DM likes "randomness" too much in his games. I have more, I might list them tomorrow... getting late.

You don't know the half of it! I once rolled 4 consecutive natural 20s for bluffing and elite guard of 5 enemy soldiers into thinking I was the son of their long-dead master. The only one I didn't convince got executed by the other 4 for his treason: and I gained 4 humanoid familiars!

Everyone always talks about feels on Funnyjunk, and the famous "Baww" threads on 4Chan. I've read, and read feeling nothing more then a little sadness..
But this.. I actually teared up and found myself wiping away a tear.. I do miss my old D&D buddies.. I think I'll call them up. Thank you, anonymousdiito for posting such a magnificent thing. And you, Urist, shall your memory live on, forever.
