And that's why I'd be a fireman over a cop any day.

I was actually planning on being a fireman but its not what its made out to be, i've heard from numerous firemen that during times of huge celebrations (4th of july for Americans and bonfire night for the British) are like hell and constant stress due to the number of call outs and threats of people aiming fireworks towards them. Also when there are serious car crashed its the firemens job to cut the people (dead or alive) out of the car. A lot of gruesome **** would be seen.

Then your father is either incredibly lucky to not have to deal with the roughest of situations, or hes just a badass.

Be a cop, change things from the inside. **** the system, change the system, change the world, paradise is only a dream if you believe it is.

Most of your problems are a result of other peoples problems. Stop to think why problems occur. One person makes a mistake, this causes an issue for another person, or multiple people, this problem needs to be solved, usually through the allocation of resources, ruining the natural balance. Chaos ensues, EVENTUALLY. Solve the bigger problems and the smaller ones will fix themselves. Don't be such self absorbed egotist, grow up, mature, do your part in making a better tomorrow not only for yourself, but for all of us.

"Most of your problems are a result of other people's problems"
But as the Buddhists would say "All life is suffering, and that suffering is caused by your actions"

One thing I see though, is everyone is obsessed with making a 'Better tomorrow". Why not also try to make a better "today"?

If I don't tell you, you don't know. Spreading knowledge and ideas can inspire people, whether you act on what I say or not, at least I did something. At least I can say I cared enough to try. Unlike some people.

HAHAHAHHA wtf, did you just like, tell someone you don't even know what career to pursue and then get butthurt when he wants to do something else instead???

Like save people's lives. Pretty sure a firefighter isn't a worthless individual.

Kid, you need to grow up, lose some of that arrogance, and start making good choices for yourself rather than trying to decide for others.

**** off anon, the point wasn't about choosing to be a firefighter over being a cop, the point was choosing to be on over the other because one has such a bad image for ridiculous laws and hypocrisies like punishing victims for attempting to defend themselves from being victimized. If there is a problem with something, fix it, don't sit on your ass and let it be. Read in to what people say instead of just skimming it and making broad assumptions based on what it SEEMS to be about. Holy **** are people retarded these days.
