What do you know, I just finished a model Stuka.

What do you think, FJ?

Hmmm, the engine cowling seems more akin to a Spitfire than a Stuka, but I don't pay much attention to German Aircraft other than the ME-109's.

I am quite sure; I am very interested in aeronautics, particularly aircraft from World War II.

The Messerschmitt Bf-109 was a monoplane with a single engine and a conventional vertical stabilizer, or tail.

The Messerschmitt Bf-110 has dual engines, and a Twin tail.

Ah, another airplane nut. Nice. World War Two is also my specialty. Pic is my grandpa's B-24. He was the right waist gunner.

That's awesome. I was talking to the grandfather of a good friend of mine who was a navigator in a B-17, and boy did he have some cool stories.

My great granddad was a medic, who landed in D-Day.

Dammit I was very unclear! I meant that as are you sure your name isn't based of the 110 and not the 109, not what was in the picture haha!

Oh! I'm sorry.
The "d" in my name was an ignorant mistake; when I made this account a while ago, I didn't know as much about planes as I do now, and I used "dt" instead of the more correct "tt".
I believe that both the 109 and 110 are both spelled Messerschmitt, in fact, Messerschmitt is the name of the whole company.

As for the o at the end, it serves no purpose, I just thought it sounded cool.

he 109 was just a beautiful plane, I think. After the Luftwaffe was forced to resort to Kamikaze-type tactics against bombers, there were reports of some pilots failing to bail out before impact, but they still managed to fly at least part of the way back to their airfields even after ramming the wings into enemy aircraft.
