In 8th grade. Get home from school. See my dog that my family has had since the week after I was born laying on the ground in his usual spot. I pet him and he looks at me. Turn on the tv. Look where he's laying and his body is tensing up. Has 13 continuous seizures. I freak out. Get my friend to drive us to the vet. Watched him get put down in the middle of another seizure. Last thing I remember about him was he looked at me when the needle went in and licked my hand. I still have a feel every time I think about that day..

When I had to put my dog down of 12 years. The last thing she did was lick my hand before she went to sleep. I lost it hard.

i too had a cat till last year. she was three years older than me and died when she was 19 years and a day, while i was lying next to her on the floor.

I've had my cat since I was 8, now I'm 19 and quite clearly looking older, my cat despite having being hit by a car, and then being told he'd have a constant limp, then a few years later going missing for a week, coming back with burns, covered in oil and a broken jaw then after seeing our vet (Incidentally the best ******* vet ever) doesn't look a day over 5 and is limpless. I think he might actually be immortal. He's amazing though, if a bit of a loner.
User avatar #29 to #7 - maxismahname (11/24/2012) [-]
the middle line made me choke back tears.
User avatar #34 to #29 - kyrozor (11/24/2012) [-]
Yeah he was missing for just a bit over a week and I was taking my dinner back through to the kitchen and he just jumped up to the window, I ran through opened the door and grabbed him to bring him inside, he was so covered in oil, that I had to change his water bowl ever 20-30 seconds because of how much oil got into it.

Father died of cancer three years ago. My cat was the only thing getting me through those hard times. He just died two weeks ago from the same type of cancer. Now I feel like I can't establish any relationships emotionally because I don't want to go through the emptiness and agony of loss. I don't know what to do anymore other than live like a robot and play video games as a past time.

Fus roh dah the **** outta everything?
Kill some dragons to ge the anger and pain out?
(Get it? 'cause of username? Allright, never mind)

But no, in all seriousness man, I know how it feels to loss someone. My Grandfather died from a heart attack which was induced by lung cancer (which wasn't detected until after he passed away). Think about what those who you've lost would want from you. Go out there and experience life. My best advice?

Take some time off from whatever you're doing, school, work, whatever and travel somewhere very far away. Meet new people, enjoy a change of scenery and culture.

And most importantly, never forget the good times spent with those who aren't around. Things will be better. Things will improve. I promise.

Thanks man. It helps to know people go through the same stuff and have each others back. I love Skyrim. It's like an alternative to alcohol. Escaping life to banish the daedric and extinguish dragons. With beautiful graphics and the closest to real possibilities you really get sucked into it.

her dad is an alchemist called the sewing life alchemist, known for creating chimeras.
however, he crosses a line and combines his own daughter with her dog to turn her into
a chimera that can speak

Oh, that from FMA? That's probably the only anime I watched, but i haven't seen all of the episodes.
User avatar #51 to #50 - TheSock (11/24/2012) [-]
it's from the re-done series, brotherhood. imo, it's much better than the original series.
If you have netflix, they have the first 3 parts of the dub
User avatar #52 to #51 - dustyshane (11/24/2012) [-]
Yea, I always wondered what the Difference is from regular to Brotherhood, I think someone said it's closer to the manga.
User avatar #64 to #52 - TheSock (11/24/2012) [-]
animation-wise and story-wise
User avatar #63 to #52 - TheSock (11/24/2012) [-]
it is, much, much closer.
User avatar #66 to #63 - dustyshane (11/24/2012) [-]
! last question, some one told me to watch the regular, THEN watch Brotherhood, or can I just watch brotherhood?
User avatar #69 to #66 - TheSock (11/24/2012) [-]
well, they really don't tie in in any way. The first like 10 episodes of both series' are the same,
then the stories are different from that point on. He probably said that because the original is easier to understand, the story in the manga and brotherhood is a lot more
complicated. but all in all, its more of a personal prefrence

Think how painful it would be for two best-friends to fight to the death in their mind to see who's consciousness will take over when they are combined.
