Cheer leading can be considered a sport since there are competitions for it...Not like there are competitions for sex. And no I'm not a cheer leader, but I love watching them sexy girls.

Actually there is a competition for sex, if I remember correctly it was five years ago in Norway.

There's worldwide beard competitions, I don't think anyone would classify growing a beard as a sport.

But that's completely different, like comparing apples and oranges. Cheer leading is pretty much a sport no matter how you care to look at it.

You were saying that if there's a competition for it (and I assume you mean actual professional competition) then it's a sport. I'm merely saying that your logic on that is flawed.

Well I was mostly comparing it to sex in that aspect. But a sport is something that requires some type of skill or physical prowess, and be competitive. Cheer leading has all these. Yes my logic was flawed for some things like beards, I won't deny that.
