Big quote but worth it.
I've seen the commercials, those little kids starving. And I think god how cruel you know. You see a little kid out there and I know the film crew could give this kid a sandwich You know the kids not out there filming a letter from home on a Betamax eh? There's a director five feet away going "Dont feed him yet! get that sandwich out of here, it doesn't work unless he's hungry". But I'm not trying to make fun of world hunger if fact I think I have the answer. If you want to stop world hunger, stop sending them food. Don't send these people another bit folks. You want to send them something, you want to help? Send them U-hauls. Send them U-hauls, some luggage, and send them a guy that goes Hey, we've been driving out here every day with your food for the last thirty or forty years, and we were driving out here, through the desert and it occurred to us that there wouldn't be world hunger if you people lived where the food is! Get out of the desert! You live in a ******* desert! Nothing grows out here! Nothings gonna grow out here! Come here you see this huh? This is sand. You know what it's going to be in another hundred years from now? It's gonna be sand!" - Sam Kininson

They live in a desert. Climate changes and them cutting down the trees out of need makes the land.. Pretty.. Not suitable for human habitation. Its a great idea. The problem is where to place them, because i have a feeling that theres gonna be many traveling away

Africa has more than enough good places for farming to feed themselves and even export to other parts of the world, so there's no need in moving them. Africa just needs to get use of all this land

Them getting food should not be my responsibility. That being said, I do feel obliged to help my fellow human beings (nationality, race, religion, gender, hat, do not matter).
The problem with society (every "modern" society, not just the Americans who have been glorified as the "big bad boss" of the MMORPG World of Earthcraft) is that we think throwing money at a problem will end it. It's about as effective as giving a druggie $50. We all know that $50 is not going to groceries for his kids.
Just as we won't end poverty by heavily taxing the rich to fund programs only the poor qualify for, Africa is not going to be made better by giving them our money. They already sit on a foundation of amazing opportunity. The only problem is that the people are too scared the value out of "their" land.
As much as I am for more extreme implementation of survival of the fittest and believe in keeping my nose out of the business of others, this "business" is something that needs to be addressed. Should Africa overcome this turmoil and integrate with the rest of humanity, our genes would be grateful. They still have the physical capabilities that many of us forsook when we no longer needed to watch our backs every second.
