Sons of Ponytime! Of Stonerhumor! My brothers.
I see in your eyes the same fear that would take the heart of me.
A day may come when the faggotry of OP fails, when we forsake our morbid humor and break all bonds of funny, but it is not this day.
An hour of anons and failed trolls when the Age of Lol-Cats comes crashing down, but it is not this day!
This day we sign!
By all that you hold dear on this good internet, I bid you stand, Men of FUNNY!

You're missing the point. There's no throne, there is no version of this, where you come out on top. Maybe your censorship comes and maybe it's too much for us, but it's all on you. Because if we can't protect the Internet, you can be damned well sure we'll avenge it.

Censoring the internet would destroy the best foundation for freedom of speech since the dawn of man, and turn it into the greatest weapon of oppression since the invention of swords.
User avatar #238 to #19 - andalitemadness (11/22/2012) [-]
I think the invention of tanks and bombs and things oppressed us more than the invention of swords. Swords are cheap and easy to make, if, say, a military from a long time ago came to attack a town the town could defend themselves from the government as all would be on equal footing due to all having swords. Since only the government can afford planes and tanks and bombs, these oppress people more since we can't match up to them.
User avatar #355 to #238 - ruinsage (11/22/2012) [-]
This is true, but along with the creation of tanks came globalization, which counteracts all of that (if we are being oppressed by our government we can get help internationally, like the freedom-fighters across Europe during WWII. And swords haven't always been easy to make) However, swords are the very symbol of physical might, and have been since they were invented. Furthermore, they have always been associated with nobility, who used them for oppressing most of the population.
User avatar #556 to #355 - flutterdoc (11/23/2012) [-]
I think his point was that even if the other guy had a sword you could still kick his ass with a pitch fork or any other weapon. if someone has a tank, unless you have some explosives and creativity your ****** .

if you dont know why theyre trying to take it youre as blind as a bat, three elements are needed for total totalitarian dictatorship, censorship of oppinion, control of banks, and total observation and tracking of all man using chips, once all those are controlled, there is no hope for man, its simple really, they cant let it go, because with unified speech, they can be defeated.

the banks and most of the worlds dosh is controleld by the federal bank, but dont let the name fool you, theyre about as federal as federal express, its a private bank that controls the printing of money, making infinate profit in gold and oil out of useless paper, the bank is owned by the same enigmatic corporations that are challenging the interenet, if you ever in life, see a member of the rockefeller or similar families,

though they have taught us we are weak, and they are strong, they are few and we are many

false, it was created to give the false sense of protection to the flock of which they herd, even the farmer gives its pigs healthcare and protection until the slaughter, by making people think that they are being protected by the ones owning them, they ensure that anyone going against them is percieved as a threat, if anyone were to ever threaten them, all they would simply have to do is tell all the other sheep around them that this person is a terrorist, and harmful to the flock, we as our own people, protect them but turning in our own brotheres fighting for freedom, events such as occupy wallstreet and the multiple revelutions around us either go unheard, or become labeled as terrorist actions, and thus become tabuus, we are our own wardens in our own clever system they have helped us fabricate, turning away ideas like racism, offensiveness, and fear itself, is the only way to free ourselves

fun fact, the game had an alagory for federal banks, the reapers appeared to be large, indestructible super beings, and finding the way to stop them seemed impossible, but really, what was controlling them, was right in front of them the whole time, it was in their citadel, it was so simple to destroy it, one man alone, pulling the trigger finished the job, nobody believed him either until the threat was in their faces, until it was too late, mass effect 3's ending was PERFECT, yet everyone complained about it blindly, shepered saved the universe and after the credits they all lived happily ever after,

everyone thought mass effect 3 was stupid because the storyline matches our plight perfectly

we have been raised to think such things as foolish banter
User avatar #284 to #281 - navestotwo (11/22/2012) [-]
I don't know about you, but I think all three endings were awesome.

I think people were so butthurt about it is because they couldn't continue on to be shepard after the ending/shepard died ultimately.

I mean shepard is AWESOME..but...still...

oh an ME4 is coming out :D

its a great game, and its even better to hear its continuing, but what gets me, if you look at other games, and reference them to whats really going on around us, its almost like bethesda and the companies responsible for games like mass effect know whats going on, and are trying to slowly seep a message, how knows everything else in this world is going nuts, i got some stuff to say about what the the goverments done that would make me sound like a lunatic till you heard the science and reasoning behind it
User avatar #288 to #287 - navestotwo (11/22/2012) [-]
indeed. I do so love referencing games...but imagine future generations picking these up and playing them...makes you wonder if even arcade games have references...

ive been enthralled in this world, the world of truth for years now, everything supports itself, there are things so implausible that have recently been discovered that it would blow your mind, there is SO MUCH MORE to this world, enough to make tears roll down your eyes. . . but its been stolen from us, made into a joke, santa clause was literally a fabricaton of the feds, for multiple reasons. one to make even more money of course, and two to make the idea of antartica/the north pole a joke, a childs tale, theres something there that would bring tears to the eyes of the worlds greatest artist, and thats why theres a military bunker the size of a small town there.
