I feel for you I just lost my last surviving one over the summer. Lost my grandpa when I was like one, my pappaw as I called him when I was 6, my mammaw at 15ish and now my last grandma when I was 31. I was lucky to have one for a good while though I guess although my mother and her twin were adopted, I still have my living "real" grandma I guess but she is a big scumbag.

I live with my grandparents.

My grandma was cleaning and accidentally bumped into my optical mouse so the red light turned on. She gasped and asked : "I didn't break your machine, did I?"

My grandma, who passed away in 2004, lived through the Great Depression and raised twelve kids -- I know! I know! It was the norm back in her time! She didn't live on welfare anything. Her and her husband busted their butts, her even more so when she became widowed and later remarried only to be divorced. Anyways, she COULD FREAKIN' cook! I probably wouldn't be as healthy as I am today if it weren't for her!

Tl;dr My grandma could make something from nothing and DAMN was she a good cook.

My grandmother was an amazing woman.

She had an amazing taste in music, movies, and books. Rather than being bored by her stories surrounding her youth, I always looked forward to them. Her food was always delectable, and her words were full of wisdom. When I needed to talk with someone about something, I went to her, rather than my own mother. Out of all of her over-a-dozen grandchildren, I was, without a doubt, the closest to her, because my mother had to live with her parents (hence, I lived with she and her husband). While my mom was out partying and doing cocaine, she was always there for me... I guess you could say she was my real mother.

Nearly three years ago now, my grandmother was found lying on the concrete floor of the garage, stone cold. Cause of death: unknown, but a suspected massive heart attack. She was lying there for nearly twelve hours before anyone found her. My grandfather, her husband, hadn't been letting her take her heart pills. I suppose you could say he's one of those types that just doesn't trust prescription drugs. Unfortunately, I can't forgive him for that... Not now, not ever. And I don't think he'll ever forgive himself.

I love you, Grandma.

I don't think you should say you'll NEVER forgive him. Perhaps one reason he feels like he can't forgive himself is because he suspects or knows that people blame him for her death. Of course, I can't say for sure. He wanted her to live healthier by not taking drugs, and I partly agree with him on that. If he had forseen the consequences though, I doubt he would've taken her off them.

Raised by my Grandmother, who happens to be a health nut and very conservative with her money. She makes cookies sometimes, along with other stuff, but a lot of her food is full of bran or flax seed, or something.

My grandmother was actually kind of mean. She never cooked nice things as far as I can remember. But my grandpa was awesome, he used to play cards with me every time I visited. And he would give me money when my grandma wasn't looking. I miss him.

Now my grandma has alzheimers and she's nice. But it sucks having to answer the same question every two minutes.

R.I.P. Best grandpa ever.

P.S. My other grandma refuses to believe that I exist. She has never spoken to me, I have never even met her. All because she doesn't like my mother. But that bitch can go **** herself.

How I'd feel after eating so much at Grandma's.
But to be honest, even though it was annoying the insistence to make me eat, it's something I really miss.
