It would be so impractical if you wanted to change pages, but for the purpose of a single paged recipe it's actually brilliant.

It seems like one of the older compact cook books. The recipe probably fits in less than a page. As for newer and highly illustrated cookbooks, i still think they'd put the recipe in on page. As for thicker cook books it wouldnt work.
