physical altering drugs + excessive training + teaching and schooling them early, and by they are 15 they can drive cars, motorbikes, boats and know advanced mechanics, several languages and martial arts. when they are 18 they can pilot a helicopter, airplanes and know how to dismantle guns, disarm bombs and use a large variety of weapons.
by they are 25 they would be the most fearsome and strongest soldiers there is.

give them a hi-tech protective armor and supply kits.

Just wondering, did you like Halo 2? I've heard people give it a whole lot of crap, but it was my favourite Halo game. Although Halo 4 is pretty damn good, there's some nostalgia involved in why it's my favourite.
User avatar #348 to #245 - errdayimfjing (11/18/2012) [-]
Yeah no I really liked all the halo games from halo 1, 2, and 3. the later models I didnt really get a chance to play as much, but I think that a lot of people might have given crap about it just because it was pretty different from the other halos as far as the feel to it and the glitches. Yeah but my most fav were prob halo1 and 3 just cuz of that nostalgia factor like you said and also I didn't play halo 2 as much as those since my brothers were typically hogging the xbox at that point haha
User avatar #359 to #348 - oxadelore (11/18/2012) [-]

haha it's alright I just finished well sorta, its supposed to be 3 pages but it was like 2 and a half so I added some fluff. User avatar #47 to #42 - suckcarsonandsee (11/18/2012) [-]
Protection doesn't always work and we have enough kids in foster homes and orphanages already, we don't need more, and with some people adopting kids to get deductions are their bills and treating them badly, dafuq is wrong with them? Kids need loving parents who are willing to except them, and who will take care of them, read them stories, have child hood memories, and every time you put a child up for adoption there is a possibility a child will not have those. I say keep it or kill it

User avatar #69 to #37 - faffer (11/18/2012) [-]
oh **** , somewhat counter opinion inbound i think that it should not be legal. not to say that you are wrong, because that one slut at my school and so many others are truly not ready to have children. however, i don't think that this means that their eventual child should not get to live. think about it, would you rather have never known you parents and been put up for adoption or never have even gotten the chance to live in this beautiful world in the first place. taking away the joys of life for some unborn person is just unfair in my opinion. I'm not saying that the birth parents should all raise that child, as they may be unready or unfit parents but i don't believe that taking away their chance at having a happy life is fair to the soon to be child.
User avatar #128 to #37 - emrakul (11/18/2012) [-]
I represent the opposite school of thought, although I fully understand and respect your ideas. The simplest explanation is that people have the right to choose their actions as long as they do not negatively affect another person. I also believe that human life has inherent value that should be considered regardless of any other circumstances. Is a fetus a separate person? Certainly it is human, and its own organism, and fetuses have legal protection already--if a pregnant woman is murdered, the murderer is charged with killing the fetus as well, and pregnant women can be charged with manslaughter for recklessly causing the deaths of their fetuses. In addition, it is illegal to damage, for instance, the eggs of an endangered species of bird, implying that the unborn do count as members of a species and have the rights inherent to that species. Legally it is inconsistent to allow abortions.
User avatar #55 to #37 - infinitereaper (11/18/2012) [-]
Sure they should be legal but society shouldn't encourage or be accepting to stupid ass sluts who get knocked up for no good damn reason. I've seen so many of those cases and many times people even support those persons, it pisses me off! You have no ******* right to even think about bringing life into this world. But hey, thats just society right now.

User avatar #68 to #44 - arthurmiller (11/18/2012) [-]
I don't agree with the IQ test part.
My father and mother aren't the smartest people in the world, neither of them have any education after high school, but they were damn good parents.
#103 to #68 - jakeattack (11/18/2012) [-]
true. but theres a clear link between iq and responsibility. your parents must be an exception so if the fail the iq test there should be another way for them to show they are fit for parenting. really we should go farther as to fat people shouldn't be able to reproduce. yeah not a little overweight but anybody clearly obese shouldn't be able to as their kids will be just as bad. from both their genetics and the parents lifestyle rubbing off onto them. now if they really want kids they can lose the weight and keep it off to show they have changed. but of course then we lose the whole freedom aspect.
User avatar #125 to #103 - emrakul (11/18/2012) [-]
The main problem with that is, who do we give the power to? Who do you trust to determine whether or not to demand the abortions of certain children, or to sterilize people forcibly? Ethnic cleansing has happened with less than that, and I simply don't feel comfortable with that idea.
#126 to #125 - jakeattack (11/18/2012) [-]
well it should be based on some kind of standards for example are the competent as parents to take care of the children if not they cannot have them not based on racial or ethnic ideas. the requirements would be voted on by the people or some sort of say in it.
User avatar #129 to #126 - emrakul (11/18/2012) [-]
Maybe I'm too libertarian, but I don't like any person or group of people having that much power, and the majority generally is the source of genocides and other horrors. Basically, if there is not a clear, objective, universally applicable standard (there is not), then judgments are going to be made, and I don't want to hand another person the ability to judge whether I am allowed to have children. You may think about hypothetical "other people" when suggesting this, but would you feel comfortable if you were being judged?
#132 to #129 - jakeattack (11/18/2012) [-]
hm you have a point. hell i know i wouldn't be deemed as fit to be a parent. im not dumb by any standard ,i was tested to have a high IQ in the 150s range, even that was in 3rd grade and things come easy to me. but im still irresponsible when it comes to taking care of things. and that kind of judgement is hard to see. im one person. i guess theoretically it could work, but with the whole power thing theres a lot of chance for problems
#115 to #44 - funnyjunknsfwsecti (11/18/2012) [-]

_Prepare your guns, **** heads, here comes another opinion.

I think abortion should be legalized, but I think so for different reasons.
-Firstly, when we've come to a point in technological and cultural development that sexual activity no longer is exclusively viewed as a means of procreation. It is medically documented that sex is a great stress reliever for both men and women, among other health benefits such as pain relief, lower blood pressure, and improved sleep. Sex is good for other things, but the chance fertilization is always present.
-Secondly, until the child is legally documented, which children in developed nations are at birth, there shouldn't be legal repercussions for the mother. The government knows as much about the fertilized egg in a woman's body as it does the number of pet goldfish she has owned.

-What really makes the most sense to me is improved contraception, specifically contraception that can be used by men. "It makes more sense to unload the bullets from the gun then to have someone else put on a bullet-proof vest."

Women have the right to do with their body from the point of conception to what they do afterwards.

The Turks used to kidnap christian boys (aged between 10-20) every 5 years, that was called the blood tax. Those boys were converted to Islam and trained as elite fighters called the Janissaries, they were unable to get married but were rich as hell since they were allowed to keep most of their war spoils for themselves. The more you know

i don't understand how abortion, which has been around for a long long time in human history, can be illegal while ivf treatment, which is a very modern and scientific method for getting pregnant, can be legal. if the argument against abortion is for religious reasons - that we should not play god and take life which starts at conception, then how come that doesnt apply to children who weren't naturally conceived? surely children who would come into the world naturally have more rights than children who came from eggs that without scientific invasion, never even had the chance of being fertilised or entering the world. genuine question - what are ur opinions fj?

Slavery has also been around for awhile. Its the same idea, the voiceless go unheard and are unvalued as human beings. The human race, despite its many good qualities will always choose ignorance over humiliation. I could go on a long explanation as to why abortion and slavery are one in the same, but knowing that this is the internet i would also have to explain the moral theory behind my reasoning as to why either is wrong AND the origin of that moral theory, both of which I am far too lazy to even think about doing.
tldr: These things are better discussed in person
