NEWS FLASH! It seems as though people are capable of packing a lunch (With whatever the **** they want in it) for school rather than bitching and complaining about the cafeteria food! Remember, you heard it first from me,
Sincerely, *************************************************

They seem to think that obesity is because people don't know HOW to eat healthy or are UNABLE to access healthy food.

No, the real reason why we eat junk foods is because we WANT to.

Fat enough to where this is necessary and too poor to afford buying your own lunch; I hardly see how this is Michelle Obama's fault...

Because 20 years ago when I was in grade school this **** would have been inexcusable as food.

Only in america, they want better public services but lower taxes.

Pic unrelated

In my country it's usually a child's responsibility to bring food and drinks with him/her.....
It's usually dry bred with cheese and like a bottle of water.

One time we went to france for a student exchange.... We got potatoe chips, chicken, vegetables..... and that for lunch.....

Fancy smanchy franchy....

Sweden has pretty neat food, at my school we've got 3 dishes, meat, fish and vegetarian.
Also 2 types of pasta salad always available.
Loaf and butter, also always available.
And tons of vegs, including arugula with tomato and feta cheese, ***** pretty cash.

What exactly IS that meal, to me it's just slop, slop, tin foil, roll and milk. What's in the tin foil? Someone answer me. Plese.

It's not Michelle's fault students are fat and whiny and want to eat more calories then they should.
User avatar #130 to #105 - durkadurka (11/17/2012) [-]
Yes, but it also shouldn't be her job to tell them what to eat.
User avatar #136 to #130 - afterwards (11/17/2012) [-]
No it shouldn't, it should be the parents. But most of the parents (though nit all) do jack **** and let their kids eat all this **** . If they wont do it somebody has to do something, nobody wants a country full of diabetic 10 year olds.
#103 - anonymous (11/16/2012) [-]
dont blame michelle, blame your school or the company your school deals with for cafeteria lunches

my school was fine up until this year. just lost a lot of flavor and most of the prices jacked up. all because they started dealing with a new company..
User avatar #84 - demandsgayversion (11/16/2012) [-]
I graduated, so I can eat whatever the **** I WANT! (that I can afford)
User avatar #83 - heyzeus (11/16/2012) [-]
at my school they cut the amount you got, jacked up the price, and changed the food to "healthy" foods. they serve less because these "healthy" foods are more expensive. the new foods are disgusting and most people can barely eat it.
#115 to #83 - anonymous (11/16/2012) [-]
Hey, what if, just saying, you stopped bitching and ate the damn food? I personally like that we get fruit every day. Last year it was literally only like once or twice a week we got anything like pears or apples, and now we have them every day! And, prepare yourself, the whole wheat actually DOES NOT taste that much different from white bread!
#86 to #83 - anonymous (11/16/2012) [-]
That's how it is for me too. For the first 5 weeks of school, the school lunches were freezing cold. Now they're just kinda cold. I hate OPAA and their stupid lunches.
User avatar #90 to #86 - heyzeus (11/16/2012) [-]
oh yea it sucks. also at my school we have 3 lunches and im the last one so sometimes they will run out of food even if im first to get there because people in the first 2 lunches will get 2 lunches just so they wount be hungry

Its funny. Ever since Obama got into office, my high school cafeteria started having less and less choices to pick from. First it was mainly fried foods that went, like french fries and stuff like that. Didn't mind it at all. Next year, we lost certain variations of foods. For example, we had cheese bosco sticks and pepperoni. Now just cheese. Didn't mind that much, but I was particularly annoyed for some of the things we lost and the slight price increase. This year, portions were cut down, we lost the soup pot that was out everyday completely, the salad bar essentially consists of lettuce, tomatoes, and cucumbers only, and prices were jacked up another $0.75 unless you took two sides of either fruit or vegetables and a milk. I'm honestly expecting during my senior year we'll have to pay twice as much as we did my freshman year for about 1/3 of what we normally could get. This is why I think its perfectly fine for people to be mad about Michelle to be playing with the menu at schools.

tl;dr ***** ****** .
User avatar #89 to #67 - notevenmad (11/16/2012) [-]
it's because of the free/reduce lunches

they don't want to give you good food for free.

Senior year! order pizza, meet at front gate. Profit! sell extra slices till pizza pays for itself. That was pretty much my way of doing things... that or driving off campus and picking things up. ;D
User avatar #74 to #67 - foelkera ONLINE (11/16/2012) [-]
I used to be able to overeat for two months with $50 at my school, now that amount gets me a sandwich and a milk and it lasts 2 weeks
