Why is it that every one assumes that soda is the most sugary and the worst for you? Most juices contain more sugar than sodas and flavoured milks. Generally flavoured milks contain double or triple the amount of sugar in it than say Coca-cola. The only reason every one assumes that Coca-cola is the worst automatically is because it's a humongous franchise and it's the most heavily criticised.

I'll just ignore the sugar part because the guy below me already did. The reason why people say soda is bad for is is because soda is bad for you.

Soda contains, but not limited to, the following:
-Phosphoric Acid ( ***** up your body's ability to use calcium, which is needed in neurons, and ***** up your liver)
-Artificial sweeteners (can cause various cancers and **** up your brain because you're tasting sweet but not actually taking the "sweet" calories)
- Hundreds of chemical preservatives and colorings (which are just bad in general)

Okay, I stand corrected. I won't attempt to dig myself into a deeper hole.

Juice has sugars (in the natural ones at least) that are natural and SHOULD be consumed. Flavored milk has the benefit of having another necessary sugar (lactose) and calcium. Coca-Cola has a ******** of manufactured sugar, which in case no one told you, is bad for you.

Sugar is still sugar though but, you're right.

That and the fact that cola has **** tonnes of phosphoric acid that eats away at your tooth enamel and is linked to brittle bones by making you piss out all the calcium because caffeine has a diuretic effect that makes you piss a **** tonne and makes you crash after a couple hours

Sugar actually has differences. Fructose (in fruit) can actually be eaten by diabetics whereas Glucose (the sugar that is the primary ingredient in corn syrup) is dangerous for diabetics.

True BUUUUT either way it's all energy that will be converted into fat if it's not used up and (correct me if I'm wrong) both can cause equal amounts of tooth decay. You're right though, fruit juice is marginally better than soda.

Glucose isn't really dangerous for us, as long as we take our insulin we're next to normal again

Fructose can be consumed without the use of insulin whereas glucose requires insulin after consumption*

Is the edit better?
