Consider the following:
I can't, at the time of my writing this, find the pic/gif that says that in my giant unorganized reaction folder, so gif unrelated.

Games are all the time designed to have less-than-stellar graphics. This may be due to funding or simply the choice of art style. For example, a game as epic as Skyrim pretty much requires amazing graphics or else your immersion would be terrible. I mean, would you want to fight dragons that don't look textured like their skin/scales would cut you if you touched them? DIshonored was not intended to have amazing graphics. This is because the graphics do their job well enough without incredible detail (And in my opinion, it's better they have that sort of "cartoony" feel rather than something like Skyrim. It just "feels" better that way.). I believe that Dishonored was made to just get more money for their next game(s), be that Elder Scrolls Online or something totally different. Kind of like with COD: World at War was a way to make money for MW2, or Halo 3: ODST was a way to make more money for Halo: Reach. Think of it this way; would you want Bethesda to spend ********* more money on better graphics for a game that, in my opinion, doesn't actually need them which would cause them to make less money for whatever game comes next? I don't think so.

TL:DR Dishonored is better without amazing graphics and the less money Bethesda spends on it, the more they have to make their next game amazing.

I have to agree with this guy. Dishonored's goal wasn't graphics but gameplay and *for me* storyline. If it was after realism, then that's when you whine about your missing legs

i don't see what the big deal is about not being able to see feet in a first person game. In the case of dishonored we're talking about a game where you can transport into the body of a fish. something tells me realism wasn't top on their list of priorities

I can't believe you idiots still think it's bad graphics, IT'S THE ******* ART SCHEME. Just like Borderlands and The Walking Dead look like comics, Dishonored is meant to look like a pastel painting, or something similar. I will admit though it's a ******* stupid choice of art scheme.

They really should start showing the body in games, it would make it feel a lot less odd.

San Andreas will stay the best GTA in history...I mean..yeah..you can make the city bigger and bring in all kinds of **** to the game but..the classic, retro feeling when you played San ANdreas with that "dirty"-sunset-mood....******* awesome!..
and you when you think about it, you will always remember that all you had to do, was to follow the damn train...

GTA 4 may have better graphics, better cars, better weapons...

but GTA San Andreas will always have the better characters and the story.

Totally agree with both of you. That game, whenever I pick it up and play it I get these feelings that remind me as a child so intrigued and in awe at the games huge diversity of areas. *********** got mountains, deserts, I don't know why but my favourite were those little towns.

Too bad Novalogic couldn't keep up with the times.

****... I remember when the graphics of the original far cry game were considered revolutionary and hyper realistic. Only one of my friends had a PC powerful enough to run it. To me it was amazing, because the only 3D games my PC could run were Doom and Wolfenstein 3D.

I'll be honest, San Andreas will still probably be more fun. It's not all about graphics. It's the delightful madness. It's the fact that if a Gang war breaks out, you have the choice between an AK and an Apache or a P-40 Warhawk.

Dude, let the game be released first. I mean I'm a die hard GTA fan, played every game since the beginning. And, quite frankly, I like GTA IV better than San Andreas. But that's me man, you should at least reserve judgement until it's released.
