That monitor makes your setup a POS in my opinion... But then again I'm a programmer, I have to stare at computer screens non-stop and read small text all day.

Well, I'm a gamer.... So when the monitor takes up nearly my whole field of vision, the game is MUCH more immersive (especially FPS games)

Also my computer is my source of video entertainment, so having a TV as a monitor is nice when i want to kick it on the otherside of my room, and watch a movie...
