How could that statement be wrong? Her stating "I want to be on the cover of Rolling Stone or Q" is her stating her opinion, it's not like she's defying the laws of science by preferring Rolling Stone to Playboy.

I don't have a problem with artists who rely on image, per se. Image is a huge part of music, especially pop music. But it's incredibly refreshing to hear a pop artist who cares more about her music than how people think she looks.

And quite frankly, Adele certainly gets tired of having to talk about her weight in practically every single interview she's ever done, so I understand her getting short with interviewers who ask about it.

I agree and disagree. His fans are more annoying than he is and I think people hate the artist because of his fanbase, instead of hating his fanbase itself. I have yet to meet a Justin Bieber fan that can appreciate that he is not the greatest singer ever and never will be, much like it is very rare to find a Manchester United fan or Chelsea fan (Sorry, using British examples because Britfag) conceding that the team played shit, didn't deserve their result or can understand why a particular refereeing decision went against them. I digress, but it is the same principle - that in modern society that we follow the crowd, not just to fit in, but also to feel like there is some success in this fandom, and we feel a need to protect this feeling.

It's more common for men to beat women to the point where they require hospitalization than it is for women to beat men to that point. I don't know if the point you're trying to make is men shouldn't put up with being hit either or if you're supporting hitting women, if it's the latter this conversation's over because you're scum if that's what you believe and I don't want to waste my time talking to you, if it's the former then I can accept that. If a women were to beat a man that much then he would be an idiot to return to her, if that's the point you're trying to make I agree.

The point I'm trying to make is it's unacceptable to hit anyone regardless of size or sex. If someone were to hit superman sure they wouldn't be able to hurt him, but he would know they're obviously not friendly. It doesn't matter if someone is hospitalized or if they leave the assault with no injuries, it's wrong to hit someone in this kind of setting. If a boyfriend is repeatedly slapped in the face by his small girlfriend for little things that doesn't make it okay just because he sustained no serious injury.
