Did you see anyone killing hobbit? No? I tought so. Those little ******* are impossible to kill. There are only two hobbits killed in movies.
Just look at Smeagol. He had ultimate tool of evil for hunderets of years, he was captured by Dark Lord and traveled midle earth, made huge murderous spider his friend and kept on going no matter what.
Hell if we go by movie there are only two known way to kill hobit.
1)Get killed by other hobbit
2) Trow him in Mount Doom.

Does he care? No. It is clearly said that his attack on Gondor was just vanguard of his army. It took all might of Gondor and Rohan just to stop that one army and he has many more. The reason why Elronds council descided to use hobbit super comandos to destroy the ring is that they knew that Elf/Human/Dwarf alliance has no chance of beating Sauron.

You may be on to something. Gandalf chose Bilbo to accompany the dwarves in The Hobbit for similar reasons.

Now I see that Hobbits are overpowered.

List of other things that tried to kill a hobbit and failed
1. Smaug - Last of great dragons, bane of dwarfs
2. 9 black riders- Ring wraiths, most powerfull servants of dark lord
3. The one that lurks in the deep - ancient water monster
4. Shelob - Huge ancient spider that didnt know what pain was until it tried to kill a hobbit
Barlog tried to take a swing at them but didnt get a chance.
You just dont mess with hobbits.

So we'd go from a center-left Harvard-educated lawyer to a center-right Harvard-educated businessman. With less charisma and more business experience. And a virtually identical foreign policy.

Sauron seemed a lot scarier in the movies.

The primary antagonist I presume? Was he rich in the movie or run for president?

All this hate for not having watched LOTR.

It's a cracking trilogy, if a little long for three movies, I'd advise watching it, but in awnser to your question yes, he's the primary antagonist, he has this ring that gives him rediculous power, and in his first coming the armies of the free world defeat him and **** him up in a fight (just) but the ring has corrupting power, and whoever holds it is slowly corrupted by the ring, and so no-one can bring themselves to destroy it.

Sauron's armies then try to get the ring back hundreds of years later, and they could basically re-summon sauron with it, and the LOTR movies are basically the journies of the nine protagonists as they try to destroy the ring in the fires of mount doom, the only place where the ring can be destroyed, where it was made.

The only catch is Mount Doom in in Mordor, and Mordor is Sauron's crib where all his armies chillax.

All British prime ministers are as bad as each other, just have to choose against the lesser of three evils.

Not to start a debate or to anger anyone, but why do you think this? I am awful when it comes to politics so I wouldn't say I have an overall opinion on it; just wondering why you feel this way.

I'll disagree with them not aiding the country at all: Do they not provide some tourism? I know that isn't really special, but it does help us out.

Completely and utterly false. The royal family provides the UK with 200 million pounds every single year from revenues from the land that they own. It costs ~ 40 million pounds every year to maintain the royal family. If for some pointless reason we ousted the royal family, the UK would lose ~£160 million every single year.

The royal family are the legal owners of this land, so they would take the 200 million yearly revenue if for some reason they were deposed.

In this day and age they are literally paying £160 million a year for an honorary title and celebrity status, not a bad deal for the people IMO.
