I hardly ever followed the story. Especially after I realized all the little plot holes.

But the game play with the mods make it so wonderful. FNV has a great story, but ****** environments. I just couldn't play it vanilla stock. That and its awful instability >.>

i love fallout 3, and NV even more, but there is no little plot hole in F3. the story is one big plothole

yup. Obsidians stories are better, but environments suck.

i dunno, i liked the bleak nothingness that was NV, f3 had a difficult terrain, although rewarding if you could get through it. NV had this desert that had little to no supplies in between the merchants and the scavenging locations, with one big city in the centre, but to each his own i suppose

Well,my issue is,New Vegas itself was pitifully tiny. The game map is smaller than Fallout 3.

It all fellt so recycled and just a 60$ addon.

I still loved it,but Im waiting for another sale to buy all the DLC packs.

map size don't account for **** if there isn't any content, quality over quantity my friend, but i'm agreeing about the recycling. It felt the same, but with different colours

Yeah I know. But even some of the content was lacking. Sure Vegas has survived the majority of the war,but what about the poverty in Freeside?

Population issues were my hugest problem in NV. Its like how can a city that survived(mind you Mr House DID say that most left Freeside and the area around Vegas) but what about those who came back or moved in?

I dunno,New Vegas shoulda been left in the oven for after Skyrim.

how did the city survive the nuclear warheads? Mr. house had a missle defense system and shot most of the nukes out of the air,so no explosive damage done (keyword most and no damage done fro the inital explosion, mind you this is over 200 years after the war, and deterioration is setting in)
User avatar #9 to #8 - thamuz ONLINE (10/29/2012) [-]
Oh I know. But he didnt shoot them all,he only got what,78-90% of the nukes? Even then, thats still a hell of a lot of damage.

When Mr.House rebuilt Vegas,he made the local tribes into the casino heads right? OK so theres those people. But where are the other people who were coexisting at the time?

I dunno,I think I am overthinking a technical limitation >.>

i'm sure there would be 100's if not 1000's of people if the engine could handle it

Yeah ever see the mod that makes the huge Enclave VS brotherhood fights? I think the mega one does 1 or 500 vs 1 or 500. Ill have to look it up,but it will make damn near any computer **** itself.

that mod is like a deathstar, and your comp is alderaan, it's like a million bytes screamed out in pain, and then silence

I am curious to see the next fallout. I have been hearing they are looking to do Boston. So we will get to see the high tech goodies of the Commonwealth and MIT.
User avatar #14 to #13 - goodguygary ONLINE (10/29/2012) [-]
my god that would be so much fun. Raiding MIT for some overpowered energy weapon, or fighting androids like there were in F3

Yeah. I be the NCR will move east and you will start to hear rumors of it.

I bet the engine will be similar to Skyrims engine.

maybe the choices you made in NV will have some sort of blowover effect.
