Man, I need a cat like that. We have a pretty big snake problem in our neighborhood.
User avatar #87 to #86 - smeargle (10/20/2012) [-]
Oh its great because we live right infront of a forrest and get a ton of gardener snakes in our yard who sometimes wonder into our garage

Well, since I'm assuming you've had the cat for a few years, it's probably gotten close to you. It's like a cat's version of loyalty, you take care of them and they offer you part of whatever they hunt. Most owned cats do that.
User avatar #55 to #54 - smeargle (10/20/2012) [-]
He was a feral cat. His mom had 2 kittens and then camped out on my moms co-workers front door looking for a home. He kept the mom cat and 1 baby and offered the other child to my mom. We took it and hes all grown up now... Old really... But still a lovely fat cat.
User avatar #56 to #55 - aaronman (10/20/2012) [-]
That explains it, you've had him since he was a kitten, and he has probably forgotten his mother. He looks up to you as his caretaker and, in turn, tries to take care of you.

Cats have emotions, too.
User avatar #57 to #56 - aaronman (10/20/2012) [-]
And it also shows that you're pretty good with cats

Its his sacrifice to the gods to allow him re-entry into the house.

My cat will go outside, disappear for maybe 20 minutes, come back the house and then drop a snake on my doorstep and then he'll eat the head off of it like it's a trophy meal or something. I don't understand.
User avatar #49 to #43 - lolwatthe (10/20/2012) [-]
Cats are predatory, what do you think they do outside hunt dandelions?
User avatar #65 to #49 - hyeroshi (10/20/2012) [-]
I've seen them hunt dandelions as well. I'm wondering why my cats decides to eat the head.
User avatar #66 to #65 - lolwatthe (10/20/2012) [-]
Maybe it knows that to kill a snake you destroy the head, snakes can still bite after they die.
#71 to #66 - hyeroshi (10/20/2012) [-]
Sounds plausible. He also likes eating the heads of everything else he catches, which is lizards, frogs, birds and moles.

Thanks, but with that information I think your cat might be a feline Immortal.
#75 to #73 - hyeroshi (10/20/2012) [-]
I just hope he doesn't turn into the feline Ozzy or something. Immortal and eating the heads off of animals and rocking out in the middle of the night may be too much for me.

Pic related - It's him.
User avatar #77 to #75 - lolwatthe (10/20/2012) [-]
This is what I was referencing: www.imdb.com/title/tt0091203/
Also he looks like he would be a terrible cat to have while walking up stairs at night...
User avatar #106 to #77 - hyeroshi (10/20/2012) [-]
I didn't think of that lol, but I understand now.

He's a fatass as well, so he'd make stairs squeak. I've gotten used to walking around and over my cats and sometimes even picking them up and walking with them on my feet.
User avatar #109 to #106 - lolwatthe (10/20/2012) [-]

Kind of looks like a slow worm to me.
User avatar #10 - CallMeCrisco (10/20/2012) [-]
Sounds and looks like an eastern worm snake. Wish I knew his location... I caught one of those a while back. They're really quite docile; they move around a lot but aren't aggressive.

Fun little guys. I can't believe he ******* scanned the poor thing.

i'm terrified of snakes no matter how they look and what they do.
User avatar #19 to #18 - CallMeCrisco (10/20/2012) [-]
That's a shame. I love them. :)
User avatar #20 to #19 - maxismahname (10/20/2012) [-]
i don't know why, they are worse than spiders to me.

To each their own. Personally, I can't stand cicadas. But snakes are adorable to me. Especially pythons. They have the most adorable faces...
User avatar #11 to #10 - joeyliquid (10/20/2012) [-]

User avatar #13 to #12 - joeyliquid (10/20/2012) [-]
Well at least he saved it from being eaten by the cat. I think.

From as little information as there is, I think it might be a Natrix tessellata.

Would be helpful to know, wehre he/she found it, how the scales look like (size) and stuff like that...

I couldn't think of a gif to use, so high five to you. :)
