The issue

Children as young as eight have been spotted gambling in some of Degeso's seedier casinos

The debate

1. Social activist Alexander de Vries is outraged. "Gambling needs to be outlawed immediately. It's no wonder children are becoming sucked into the vice, with adults setting such a poor example. Gambling is a stain on Degeso's international reputation and it must be stopped!"

2. However, Crown Casino chairperson Miranda Trax says, "What's wrong with children gambling? It prepares them for the realities of life, teaching them that success or failure is not due to hard work or intelligence, but the roll of the dice. Besides, if kids weren't gambling, they'd be spraypainting trains."

So my options are either ban all casinos, or openly recognize that children ought to be allowed to gamble. I really wish there was another option which would allow me to place an age restriction like we do in real life on gambling, so that only people of a certain age can be admitted into those establishments.

I'm just going to dismiss this issue.

I dismissed this one.

Yeah, I'm like 4 hours late. Sue me.

Dismissal seems to be the best option in this case. Again, I wish there was more options than the ones offered -_-

Yup. It's either one extreme or the other. I do know that banning gambling will lead to a damaged economy. Can't remember what the other one will do.

Yea, that uncertainty related to the second option is slightly upsetting. :P

I hate when you get an ultimatum.

I agree. Seriously, banning gambling over this issue would be such a gross overreaction.
