Thanks for giving creds, OP, so I can go catch up on Humon. Oh wait. You didn't. I can't.

Really, though, is this a new comic of hers?
User avatar #107 to #104 - lavitts (10/17/2012) [-]
Not even. Old ass comic is old.
User avatar #100 - Loppytaffy (10/17/2012) [-]
You want to credit Humon? Come on dude, making comics is a big part of her livlihood, that's not cool.

It's one thing seeing her Scandinavia and the World comics on here, but these too? Will the girl never get a break?
User avatar #101 to #100 - corundum (10/17/2012) [-]
That was Humon? **** , she's good.
#103 to #101 - Loppytaffy (10/17/2012) [-]

Some of her **** helped me on a college course module last year.

yes this has been my point for years now. anything we do is "natural" burning down forests and killing species is "natural" for us. we are part of the ecosystem and that is what we do by our choice which makes it "natural." i compare it to cutter ants killing thousands of plants and some other amount of different species in there quest to create a city underground and in fact they take over otherant cities as well. they're pretty close to human nature and that's "natural"__
User avatar #69 - corundum (10/17/2012) [-]
**** you, bitch. We're life's only chance of getting off this damn planet.

the books are ******* awesome but the movie is a pile of **** .

Anyone has ever read Artemis Fowl?
Maze Runner?
Any of Dan Brown's books?
Nein? ok...
#113 to #94 - anonymous (10/17/2012) [-]
I love the Artemis Fowl series, and I've only read the Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown, but he seems alright. :)
User avatar #110 to #94 - fuckingbarrels (10/17/2012) [-]
I've read artemis fowl, so from one fan to another, i suggest you read skullduggery pleasant. It's a kids book, but jesus it has one hell of a storyline
User avatar #114 to #110 - vycanismajoris (10/17/2012) [-]
Cool, gonna try it, thanks.

fair warning, there are a lot of them, but they're worth it
User avatar #68 to #57 - corundum (10/17/2012) [-]
I would have laughed if I wasn't too busy raging at the thought of the movie.
User avatar #75 to #68 - zedacedia (10/17/2012) [-]
It could have been worse.

I can't...
whether it's a book.
Or a new game.
I can't do that. I have to at least take more than 2 weeks.
I still haven't beaten borderlands 2.
I like to cherish things, I get bad feels when I hear about people speeding through that type of stuff.
User avatar #88 to #85 - zedacedia (10/17/2012) [-]
Always gotta get my fix.

IMO, Riordan screwed it up...its got suspense, but couldve also had a MUCH better ending, not to mention the little effort put in storyline continuation from previous books.

you wanna know what a think? i don't care, i'll still tell you.
i think life was created (yes, created) in order to pass a series of tests that will eventually make us merge into a single being that has powers similar to those of a god. what would be the point of becoming what we have become if the sun will burn us to a crisp eventually? what humanity (and by extension all other life forms) needs to do is to eventually become able to leave their primary (the sun). the only way to achieve that is to be able to adapt not ourselves, but our surroundings. dolphins, for example, are practically doomed to extinction. without our help they will die one day, when the sun explodes. our competing nature is what makes us get new technology. neil degrasse tyson explained that the most important scientific accomplishments have mostly been in a kind of competition. like the space race. do you think humans would have reached the moon if there hadn't been a cold war? we have stopped evolving biologically. now we evolve technologically. eventually, when we have enough knowledge we will be able to communicate with the more advanced life forms that are roaming the universe. i also believe that one of those life forms could be what we call god.

User avatar #71 to #60 - churrundo (10/17/2012) [-]
