One of their members looked at the screen behind them , allowing him to look on the other teams minimap. He saw them into a brush and shot a skill and normally wouldnt be able to know the enemy was there.

User avatar #12 to #11 - Timmietim (10/13/2012) [-]
they got fined 30.000$. the price is 2 million.
User avatar #13 to #12 - nyangiraffe ONLINE (10/13/2012) [-]

User avatar #14 to #13 - Timmietim (10/13/2012) [-]
yeah exactly. disqualified or replayed
User avatar #15 to #14 - nyangiraffe ONLINE (10/13/2012) [-]
It's crap, after their early game was messed up TSM had no chance. It was a **** over and I think it deserves a rematch
#17 to #15 - contee (10/13/2012) [-]
the fine is 20% of the winnings so if they win the mil i think they lose 230000$
User avatar #18 to #17 - nyangiraffe ONLINE (10/13/2012) [-]
Cheated to get there, they don't even deserve that
#22 to #18 - contee (10/13/2012) [-]
like 8 people cheated even dyrus even if that game did not count it would still be af 1 tsm 0 the on reason af got fine was when they did it. it made them win the early game and still if tsm was that good they could have come back from that
User avatar #24 to #22 - nyangiraffe ONLINE (10/13/2012) [-]
If you fall behind in early game in LoL you might as well give up, the early game sets up for a strong late game, and if someone cheats to win early game that is ******** . Are you new to the game or what? If you lead in the early game you have more gold to get more items before your enemies, causing an advantage, and AF cheated. When Dyrus and them looked it was during the first pause in the first game when both teams were STILL IN THE FOUNTAIN. The game then got remade. Everyone looked at the screen then, because the game was going to be remade.
#25 to #24 - contee (10/13/2012) [-]
idk seem like out played to me if not in that game the other game and i have come back from so many game where my team get ace at lv 1 and still win it sound like your a surrender at 20 kind of guy so you would not know anything about that
User avatar #74 to #25 - Bomard (10/14/2012) [-]
first of all "outplayed" so appearantly, cheating is considered outplayed? are you serious? 2nd, If you were in high ranked ELO teams, people actually know what their doing, if your in the lead, you can keep it. Its extremely difficult for someone to come back early game.Early game is what sets up a strong late game. Your team gets aced at lv 1 your probably still in 700 elos where none of your team knows how to play = = ...
User avatar #26 to #25 - nyangiraffe ONLINE (10/13/2012) [-]
In tournament play with people that actually know how to keep a lead, it is hard to come back. You play with normals most likely, and I don't surrender at 20 in normals because people in normals are retarded and make so many mistakes it is laughable,
#27 to #26 - contee (10/13/2012) [-]
normal ranks custom its all the same people want to win if they are not the hope is gone i have so many rank game where we start making a come back and my team still surrender but fanboys will be fanboys i like AB and AF i like the way they play so they cheat one time look one the bright side regi is coming to game cuz he want to take them down so next season will be even better and thats all we was fan want is a good game to watch but for now its whatever S3 is where the real war of AF and TSM starts
#36 to #27 - anon (10/13/2012) [-]
By reading you seem bias. You don't consider what a ruined early game does to the other team, I think you just feel like people like the opposing team then your team. Lets just state a fact, if early game is messed up it is extremely difficult to bounce back. This is not an "Outplayed" thing. Cheating gave the team leverage, it isn't fair, and they should have gotten in a trouble for it. Cheating is cheating no matter how you look at it.
User avatar #119 to #6 - bronan (10/14/2012) [-]
They didnt even cheat.. he was clearly looking at his teammate..
User avatar #16 to #6 - harveylegnipples (10/13/2012) [-]
Yeah, and all they got was a stupid fine......

Riot is pretty much saying "Hey, if you're on your way to win 1 million dollars, you might as well cheat, cause we will only fine you 30k$"

They should have been thrown
#29 to #16 - albaek (10/13/2012) [-]
20% of winnings
Which means that it will be 200k if they end up winning (I believe)
But I agree with you

#115 to #29 - anon (10/14/2012) [-]
Nope, its just 20% of THAT winning, so 20% of 150k... Its kinda ridiculous

real money only gets cosmetic stuff. it doesnt give you any performance edge
User avatar #60 to #51 - DrMrPaul (10/14/2012) [-]
its really really fun. I'm new at it but you definitely don't need to pay to win. not even at all. there are a bunch of free champs (ten to be exact) per week you can pick from and its not like they are always the UP champs or anything. so its pretty much awesome.
User avatar #61 to #60 - DrMrPaul (10/14/2012) [-]
also playing games gets you points to spend on champs and stuff so you dont need to pay for anything

In my opinion, it gets pretty boring after a while (a long while) because of the repetitiveness of playing. Join game, choose champion, do good first 20 minutes/gg first 20 minutes, rage, win/lose. But it's no doubt fun the first couple of weeks/months
#91 to #51 - anon (10/14/2012) [-]
most definately not pay to win as you can earn anything other than skins with in game points/currency
#67 to #51 - dreamingray (10/14/2012) [-]
Nope.. Not pay to win at all. It could help you...but your teamwork and your skills all that matters in the game..
User avatar #84 to #51 - TheBigGummyBear (10/14/2012) [-]
LoL is one of the best games I've encountered since the era of PS2/N64 etc ended. I've played every so called 'popular' game and LoL tops the lot. My only suggestion is you play against bots for a while first and learn the grasp of the game as it's one of kind (other than HoN and DotA obviously). And everyone will enjoy playing with you and you them if you meet the following criteria:
1. Don't get pissed off if you start losing, play it out and have fun because it's a GAME.
2. When running away from champs, run to your turret as a #1 priority, other people do stupid **** because they think they're being tactical but they're just being silly.
3. If your team is bad, don't type /all and complain, those are the epitome of annoying people on LoL and nobody will like you.

That aside, LoL is fun and I would recommend it.
User avatar #102 to #51 - YllekNayr ONLINE (10/14/2012) [-]
It's more like "invest 100 hours to win" and "pay to look fancy while you do it".
User avatar #52 to #51 - waskrijt (10/14/2012) [-]
It's an very addictive game, and doesn't matter if you spend a million dollars on this game or not, money does not play a role, only skill and teamplay.
#55 to #51 - bananajoe (10/14/2012) [-]
there is no pay to win
with money you can only buy champions (you can do that with ingame money, too) or skins (they only make you look different)
User avatar #53 to #51 - Santamoo (10/14/2012) [-]

Is it different from HoN, or better, haven't tried either but seems to me their pretty similar
User avatar #66 to #62 - Santamoo (10/14/2012) [-]
Well it's the same style of game, MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena). HoN has a much higher learning curve and a much stricter meta game. LoL is fairly relaxed compared to HoN and DotA, less mechanics to worry about, and easier to learn.
