Does it feel like a real Halo title again? Reach and ODST were jokes.

AIs, especially ones as intelligent as Cortana can change their appearance, also, she is slowly going robo-senile, so that may be why she became sluttier.

They completely butchered halo reach, and now they have the balls to make a halo 4?

All the new stuff they're adding is completely insulting to a true halo fan.

Actually, I am pretty sure it is the same people, or at least many of them. The studio that made the Halo games (Bungie) broke off from Microsoft in order to continue the series.

Well... you're almost right, Bungie was split and those who wished to continue making Halo games stayed as 343i while the rest kept the name Bungie and went to some other publisher. (i think Activision) so 343i, which is basically half of Bungie that stayed with Microsoft and is continuing Halo, while the other half goes to make some generic shooter with Marathon as a side project last i heard

While it is true that they ****** up their own lore when making Halo Reach (to those who don't know, the "battle" of Reach only took hours before the planet was glassed) it was still a fun game. Sure, not as fun as Halo 3 in the eyes of some, but still was fun and had an interesting story line.

Halo post = bait for:
Halo haters
Self-appointed Halo critics
Fanboys

Just play the games you enjoy, people, your opinions matter little to the rest of us.

This is coming from someone who played Halo: CE on both PC and the original xbox and has played every title in the series since
Halo:CE was great, a lot of fun but could be better, Halo 2 was absolutely amazing, it is still my favorite game of all time to date, Halo 3 was decent but in my opinion less fun, equipment and weapons weren't balanced well enough, in Halo 3 you start with an AR meaning you pretty much never pick up any weapon other than a BR or special

I won't even mention ODST, we can all agree it was trash, then Halo: Reach to me is worse than Halo 3 and is the low point of the main Halo series, the game just feels dumbed down and CoD-esque with loadouts and abilities and equipment and all this other random stuff. I don't like Halo: Reach but I hope Halo 4 can restore the franchise to it's former glory.

I never got it because it has Reach multiplayer. Ever played Halo Custom Edition on PC? User created maps and vehicles and weapons? It's amazing.

Halo:CE: Great game.
Halo 2: My favorite Halo game, and one of my favorite games of all time. (Hundreds of hours.)
Halo 3: Good game as well, played it a lot with my friends.
Halo ODST: A lot of people talk **** about it, but I kinda liked it.
Halo Reach: Meh, had potential but felt dumbed down and boring.

I'm honestly not sure if I should be excited for Halo 4

Don't get me wrong, Halo 2 introduced me to the shooting genre and I loved Halo 3. It's just that the feeling of this series has been milked enough and maybe it could've been tangentially connected to the Halo franchise and been a whole new concept rather than the 6th installment.

I thought the series was actually well-balanced for the first three releases. Honestly, Halo Wars was a little much and they ****** up the main storyline of Reach beyond all belief, but it remains to me an amazing series. Even the books are good, it's like the toned down, sci-fi version of Tom Clancy. Now that new hands are making the game, I'm excited to see what direction they go in. The milking of the series as you put it, is mostly done by fans. It's not ******* Call of Duty.

I guess I shouldn't condemn 343 just yet (even though the Halo CE remake was a stupid ******* move).

Until next month, I will wait and see how ****** up or how wonderful it is.

Yeah, it was unnecessary, but I can see how they wanted to remarket the original game to the new generation of fans who haven't experienced it but can't stand the slow movement speed, out-dated graphics, and retro gameplay.
