deck this out with the same equipment and you have an equally sexy car and with the power to weight ratio and of course depending on the transmission ( im think auto-manual track grade) then well anything can happen ..just remember this rule ..when it comes to cars anything can be done to any car if you have the money and the resources

Well I love the color so I'm sticking with that. Someone took out the original motor and put in a chevy 350 (which is fine with me) so I'm going to put in a 400 crank and turn it into a 383 stroker. Putting in an automatic because the way everything is tuned a manual won't function optimally which kind of sucks but whatever. Its a full ton which isn't a very comfortable ride so I'm switching out the rear end with a Ford 9-inch (which kills me being a Chevy guy) because that's what people tell me the ideal rear end for them. I might go with a Mustang II front end but I'm not sure yet. Its lowered a little bit and I like where it is at so I will keep it there. Classic on the outside and more modern on the inside because (being an audiophile) I'm planning on putting some pretty sick stereo equipment in there. Thats about everything haha.

Jeeps are mostly meant for off-terrain especially wranglers, metal = Heavy & rust, Plastic = Rust resistant & light. Do you live up north or use to? Cars get rusted to hell, plastic doesn't rust, that's why they use a lot of plastic.

plastic also equals DEAD when you crash that ******. not to mention all the basic problems that every jeep has. ive owned 3 at various stages of my life and when they would reach the end of the 5 year/100,000 mile warranty, litterally RIGHT AFTER, it would fall to pieces. i swear they design it like that.

the only good jeeps were the jeep trucks and the old jeeps that had the same style engine because it was the only one jeep had that lasted forever.

My land rover has Aluminum exterior panels, i weather proof the chassis every winter, so no worries about rust, and it is spotless. Plastic breaks easily, i wouldnt want the plastic steering gaurd that the jeep comes with, and the chassis could use some redesigning. yea my land rover is a bit heavier, but it has factory locking diffs, so all it needs to go offroad (i can link you to my Croatian overland) is a decent set of tires.

And dont think i am being Biased, i had an old YJ, it was a bit too fragile for extreme offroading, you had to make it a good offroader by adding strong mechanical parts, but it took a beating, the defender is A LOT tougher as a factory built off roader.
