Yes...the prostitution law is more in the interest of public health than anything else. The porn industry is regulated in the sense that they have to take certain precautions against disease

If prostitution was legalized it could be subject to the same regulation. The law is ridiculous

In Canada, it's legal as long as you don't get caught... No seriously, according to the government prostitution is not illegal as long as it's not a threat to public order or offensive of public decency, in other words, if no one knows you're doing it, it's cool.

Technically, everything is legal if you don't get caught.

That isn't how you use this image macro. Also, the writing in the picture is a statement, not a question.

The reasoning behind it is that prostitutes generally have a high risk of being assaulted or murdered.

For the most part, prostitution isn't a crime, and prostitutes are usually never punished. Solicitation is the crime.

Porn movies are registered, and someone pays taxes for it, also it is as safe as sex gets.

Actually prostitution is legal. I'm pretty sure it is anyway

It's advertising it in public or whatever that is the offence

The actual act is soliciting sex. Prostitution is generally illegal throughout the U.S.
