Ok so if you take the square root of -1, or any negative number actually, you get i (imaginary number) if you then proceed times that with itself you will get i*i which is -1, then the **** (which was imaginary) is now real, now it just doesn't give a hit, actually that much that the **** you earlier handed over, you're taking back.
you can aswell do the squareroot of **** * the squareroot of -1 (that's i). i^2 = -1; (squareroot of **** )^2 = **** so it technically the result would be "- **** ". It's not impossible as you said but OP is wrong too
When you take the square root of a number, you get an imaginary number. So when you square an imaginary number, it becomes a real number. I hope that helps some.
