> ******* gays

whatever way u look at that, its a good thing
#300 - MrOblivious (09/16/2012) [-]
He is a symbol of rebellion. A symbol of revolution. A symbol of change.

He put his studies to become a doctor aside and travelled the world and saw too many poor people and decided to rise up and change that. So he joined the revolution and started rebellions. He was caught and executed while at a young age.

Che stood up for a good cause and died for it, that's something to admire. But I know that most people who wear his image don't even know much about him and they're just ****** hipsters.

che guevara, was argentinian, his view was towards the communism. Hero? maybe but only for those whose life deepened for a change, he ended in the cuban revolution...
User avatar #298 to #270 - arrisarrad (09/16/2012) [-]
He is often looked up to by people with left-wing political views, but while he was in Cuba, he was the one setting up the executions of political dissidents. He is not a hero, he was a power hungry and egotistical man who abused his power.
#268 - cygnuswithasmile (09/16/2012) [-]
What? I'm sorry but What? Guevara believed all of his people should have been equal. **** sake the guy was a communist, he believed the idea that people were treated differently based upon there race, gender or sexuality was what was holding Cuba back.
America made up a million lies about him in the press purely because he pretty much single handedly made one of the biggest countries in the world look like idiots. He pretty much sparked the Cuban revolution, kicked Americans out of Cuba, overthrew the corrupt government, proceeded to keep the Americans out during the Bay of Pigs and then sided with America's biggest enemy.
Of course the Americans were going to make up stories about him, if you didn't make him look evil then people might have realised that there was absolutely nothing wrong with what was going on except the fact Americans were heavily involved in a country they had no right to be in.
User avatar #281 to #268 - redblackstar (09/16/2012) [-]
As far as I agree that what he did for Cuba indeed required some balls, most of the things the Americans seem to be saying about him are not lies, but are strongly exaggerated and they only say what he did wrong and never don't say what he did well. For example they say that he has killed thousands of people were he actually only killed some of the roughest rich fruitcakes, that if not killed would bring back the former system and the oppression of the working class. He actually let go many of his POWs during his campaigns which was certainly a bad strategical move, but a great political one, he realised that the POWs were the same working class people as his men so he let them go as he has seen potential revolutionaries in them. Later some of these POWs actually joined the guerilla.
Also when Americans say that Ernesto was racist, they bring one qute to the discussion, a quote from one of his EARLIEST works, forgetting that his views, as anyones, have changed over time, he even went to freaking CONGO in AFRICA to help out his fellow communists to start a revolution there!

I've seen hundreds of people wear him on their shirts and when i ask them you he is they don't know either.

i dont care about your sexual preference at all your happiness is what you should care about not whether or not someone is gay
User avatar #312 to #311 - supersamissuper (09/17/2012) [-]
Okay, but my point was that the term "Pro-choice" is for abortion. Being gay isn't even a choice.
Jah Feel?
User avatar #313 to #312 - thedarkangel (09/17/2012) [-]
well that can be debated till the end of time but does it really matter?
User avatar #314 to #313 - supersamissuper (09/17/2012) [-]
....Yeah. It does. When I am get the **** beat out of me and the other persons defense is "Oh it was his choice!" Then yeah, its going to matter a lot. There are days where I have wished and wished that I wasn't gay, but there isn't a single thing I can do about it.
User avatar #315 to #314 - thedarkangel (09/17/2012) [-]
why do you take the beatings then? take a self defense class or tell someone who can help because thats discrimination which isnt right in any case
User avatar #316 to #315 - supersamissuper (09/17/2012) [-]
I seriously hope you're joking. Nothing can prepare you for 8 country guys ganging up and beating the **** out of you.

It is something you learn to cope with though. I get a lot of prank calls, one main one being,"Will you suck my dick?!" to which I usually reply,"Can you do next week? I'm a little booked."
User avatar #321 to #320 - thedarkangel (09/17/2012) [-]
thing about jokes like that is you can reply with " why not get one of the other boys you hang around to do it?"
User avatar #322 to #321 - supersamissuper (09/17/2012) [-]
Its funnier when some of their friends have come out of he closet to me because they know they can't about it with theirs. Haha, funny when half of the football team is gay.

Swallow the what the butt-hurt goverment (who lost) gives you, read nothing about it, pretend to know everything about it, fail hard at describing who Che-Guevara really was.
#233 - anonymous (09/16/2012) [-]
Hes not the symbol of hope because of that its because he was the few who actually stood up against a corrupt goverment and did something about it unlike here we just talk about how are government is bad but we just sit there and not take action
