I feel like the only person in the world that don't wait forever for IE to open...
User avatar #5 - InsertFunnyPhrase (08/23/2012) [-]
You say that like IE takes longer to open than iTunes.
User avatar #26 - bothemastaofall (08/24/2012) [-]
I only use IE and I have no problems

I know, right? Either some computers are rediculously incompatible with IE or everyone else is just ignorantly jumping on the anti-IE bandwagon.
User avatar #29 to #28 - xjessicaxrabbitx (08/24/2012) [-]
Or it's just the ********* browser option.
User avatar #32 to #26 - crazyfail (08/24/2012) [-]
Yea seriously, the people that hate IE are the ones that instantly download crome. They dont even give the browser a chance. And the thing is that the browser that you use, will run faster then the ones you dont use. My IE starts in less than a second, Crome takes about 10.

i have never had more pages open than the one i click... so you must be doing something wrong
User avatar #11 - largemuffins (08/23/2012) [-]
IE isn't slow to start up on either of my computers

I bet none of you can even explain why IE is considered so *bad*.
You just jump on the bandwagon, trying to look smart, repeating the same old joke.
"Ooh, IE is so slow and stupid, frtasfrtpnd"

In reality, it is no worse than any other browser, it's just forced on you by Microsoft.
#57 to #9 - anon (08/24/2012) [-]
I hope your joking aside from the database getting cracked open what other reasons do you need

I truly believe that IE is slower than chrome, but it is a very necessary program.
#10 to #9 - anon (08/23/2012) [-]
******** . Chrome and Firefox are master race faggot
#21 to #9 - anon (08/24/2012) [-]
I just like firefox because adblock, I never really hate on browsers

Personal preference
Chrome is easier to check bugs and glitches
I like the customization
i use YouTube mainly which is a Google website so Chrome works the best on it

When I got my laptop for college it came with IE and Chrome. Chrome is slow, sometimes wont load pages, and wont play youtube videos. IE is working perfectly..
User avatar #69 to #16 - zappasc **User deleted account** (08/24/2012) [-]
no offense man, but if chrome wont load youtube videos.... sometimes wrong.

I had the same problem and had to delete the adobe flash player extension, then chrome automatically repaired it, worked fine after that
User avatar #13 to #9 - billybong (08/23/2012) [-]
well Security is my big thing for not using it. But having a faster browser like Chrome is a bonus.

IE is faster and smoother than Chrome, if you take the time to disable all those useless addons and crap.
User avatar #78 to #35 - billybong (08/25/2012) [-]
if that were true, running IE with out extensions would be faster

the following command does that and it's still as slow as ****

Start>run> iexplore –extoff
User avatar #20 - t i xii (08/24/2012) [-]
if you want to complain about ie being ****** than you should say the same for itunes. everybody knows you get rid of that **** and use mediamonkey
User avatar #22 to #20 - IAmManbearpig (08/24/2012) [-]
I use Winamp. it's not very big, and does more than serve it's purpose.

I dont know why people bitch about it. I use it all the time and I dont have those problems what people claim it has.

I clicked on iTunes and then IE, IE loaded and then I closed it a full 3 seconds before iTunes loaded... Also I haven't seen the many pop-ups since IE on windows 98
User avatar #6 - empithree (08/23/2012) [-]
why do you keep it anyway? just uninstall it.
User avatar #7 to #6 - invisiblepleasure (08/23/2012) [-]
Can you do that? I thought it just reverted to the old version
Show me your wisdom
User avatar #12 to #7 - billybong (08/23/2012) [-]
in win 7 only you can..

sstart>run> "appwiz.cpl" which brings up programs and features

then look on the left for add/remove windows components and then find IE.

But don't do it, it's needed for other applications to work sometimes.

just delete the shortcuts and default to chrome or ff

User avatar #14 to #12 - invisiblepleasure (08/23/2012) [-]
Thanks for telling me, people seem pretty offended that I didn't know,
The last time I ran Windows it was XP and you couldn't really remove it "safely" I take it that's still pretty much the same

Right, because that happens every time you open IE.
User avatar #18 - aldheim (08/24/2012) [-]
I'd still be using Internet Explorer if Opera didn't have speed dial.
#30 - raidaltamimi (08/24/2012) [-]
WTF is this !!!
#72 to #30 - pickingAnameSUCKS (08/24/2012) [-]
This is how stupid you look when you use the "IE has so many toolbars" argument.
User avatar #19 - huntingluver (08/24/2012) [-]
That's the way that iTunes acts on my computer, however, IE runs like **** as well.
User avatar #23 - awesomenessdefined (08/24/2012) [-]
Would it really have taken less time if you opened iTunes. **** i'm tired of all these gay little IE comics

User avatar #60 to #58 - grazy (08/24/2012) [-]

#63 to #60 - jamesnikko (08/24/2012) [-]

#75 to #60 - leosnuts (08/24/2012) [-]
