I wish I could move back to Eugene. Parents got jobs in Charlotte, NC when I was 12.
I hadn't gone back till this July, and it was great. The country fair, the hippies, saturday market, we even caught the Beatles cover band. Sorry. Reliving great memories with a fellow Oregonian.

I call BS on the fact that no one in their right mind would voluntarily move to this ********* of a city.

There's a guy in the Washington DC area who drives past speed cameras most days going at least 15 over, but he's always wearing a halloween mask or something so they can't pin the picture on him.

What about his license plate?

Speeding is a crime against the person, so license plates don't matter. They have to be able to identify the driver.

Actually, the license plate does matter. They use the plates to track the owner.
On an unrelated note the cops would probably just hide around where he drives and personally give the guy a ticket.

But if its the same guy all the time why not track down the owner and evetually they will find the person...

Because that would cost money, and the local government doesn't want to spend unnecessary fees to track the guy down, then hire lawyers to prosecute a case they probably can't win, etc. over just a few speeding tickets.

Even if they can not ID the face they need a report of who was driving your car then, which they will investigate and try to ticket the other driver. If you refuse to give this info you have to pay the ticket, and if the info is false you can get in more legal trouble so yeah. Gotta hate it when kids who have never received a ticket like this think they're so clever and can find a way out :D

I did something similar to this with a girl I like. I sent her a piece of paper with a letter telling her how I like watching her sleep. She sent me a piece of paper with a restraining order on it. Silly girl.
