User avatar #119 - joedarby (08/21/2012) [-]
good idea but a few problems
1: what if its hot, the plastic will melt
2: we have running water for a reason
3: paper plates, allows for microwaving
4: im surprised i counted this high
#124 to #119 - boards (08/21/2012) [-]

The next step is just mushing the food up and squeezing it out the corner of a ziplock bag like frosting.
User avatar #83 - saxophan (08/21/2012) [-]
Wow, that's wasteful as **** .
User avatar #108 to #83 - SniperKitty (08/21/2012) [-]
How? It's the old cereal bag, you're going to throw it away anyways.
User avatar #132 to #108 - saxophan (08/21/2012) [-]
First question to ask is can you do this for three meals a day seven days a week and still have it be reasonable?
User avatar #143 to #132 - SniperKitty (08/21/2012) [-]
Well no but if you have an empty cereal bag it would be waistful not to use it this way wouldn't it?

Paper is biodegradable and plastic isn't, throwing away a plastic bag every time you eat something will seriously **** up the planet.

Deal with it.
#106 to #75 - anon (08/21/2012) [-]
**** this planet haha

YOLO
#162 to #106 - weediemaan (08/21/2012) [-]

User avatar #12 to #10 - poophaspooped (08/21/2012) [-]
but with the plastic I no longer have to compensate my classiness with my hatred of dishes!

plus those plastic bag or whatever they may be take up a faction of the space
User avatar #24 to #10 - yeahhhbuddy (08/21/2012) [-]
plastic bag is cheaper
#113 - shunyata (08/21/2012) [-]

#116 to #113 - anon (08/21/2012) [-]

#120 to #113 - anon (08/21/2012) [-]

#126 to #120 - shunyata (08/21/2012) [-]
You can take the pot. Place it on a wooden board and it from the pot. Board stays clean. You have to clean the pot anyway. And you are not wasting valuable plastic **** .

User avatar #142 to #126 - novabird ONLINE (08/21/2012) [-]
and if you are using cast iron or teflon pots/pans all they need is a good wipe down.
User avatar #125 to #113 - novabird ONLINE (08/21/2012) [-]
sounds like a good idea to me, iv'e been doing this for years, just remember to let it cool down first (trust me on this, burnt taste buds aren't fun).

Or just rinse the bowl right after you're done so you don't have to continuously buy Saran Wrap.

I think eventually the amount of money you'd spend on plastic would surpass the amount on just using a ******* dishwasher
#151 to #147 - anon (08/21/2012) [-]
But this is easier and faster. For us lazy people.
User avatar #194 to #147 - aldheim (08/21/2012) [-]

User avatar #3 - cajapereturns (08/20/2012) [-]
It would still smell like the food, because some molecules can move through the plastic molecules or something like that.
Also seems like a bit of a waste, but good idea.
#27 - nithorry (08/21/2012) [-]
What a great idea!
