This hasn't been a problem since the invention of the record player. These days, you can just make a playlist and there are no commercials. Ever.

Over here our rock station died and was replaced by yet ANOTHER pop music station. We have 3 pop music stations, a country music station, the mandatory religious radio station, and the rest are corridos (for those that don't know is just mexican music to get drunk to). To top it all of they have been broadcasting a radio show from another state that rarely plays any music, and spends literally 1 whole minute every 10 minutes stating that they are a radio station. FFS it's not necessary to state that 20 times.

It's not something we decide, if boss says that there is an ad after each song, then there is an ad after each song.

Until we launch Project Mayhem. Just ******* wait.

24/7 Great music.
Only ads are for the stuff that is actually happening on the radio station.
No commercial **** at all.

In Sacremento, we have Radio 94.7, which is possibly the coolest radio station ever. They play good music, they don't have any talking DJs, in between songs they just play prerecorded announcements ("Like us on facebook," "Text Like or Dislike to 19383 and help us improve your radio 94.7 experience,") and their commercial breaks are 60 seconds long, and are about a half hour apart, and every time their facebook page hits 1000 new likes, they go commercial free for 24 hours.

They are actually required to announce their broadcast station at least every 30 minutes. And some stations I listen to actually don't talk after every song.
