Isn't it because he stamps a hand with the amount you have given him? I think he even says "I've never seen you a day in my life but that stamp is mine all right."

Yeah, that's the legitimate reason, but where's the fun in that?
Crazy speculation, ACTIVATE!

It is The Sims 3. You can download the manual here

www.carls-sims-3-guide.com/download/

That is one of the best online guides that I know of. I have been playing the Sims since the very beginning and even I refer to that website when a new expansion comes out.

Crysis 3's bow and arrow is equipped with tracking arrows, explosive tipped arrows, and regular arrows for stealth kills.

You're one dude taking on two full armies.
Please, tell me how stealth is a dumb Idea...

not to mention how ******* loud a silenced rifle is. They don't mask sound, they're actually pretty loud. They dampen the sound so that, at a distance, one can't tell which direction the shot came from. Besides, a bow is much more versatile at medium to short range, which is more suitable to urban combat as in Crysis.
User avatar #241 to #233 - gobnick (08/13/2012) [-]
actually, they do dampen sound, but only so much so that the shooter doesn't necessarily need ear protection, i think it lowers it from over 105 decibels to 35-50 decibels. and a bow would be superior in an urban setting, it would be extremely hard to even see the shooter, it's lighter, quieter, and in some cases, smaller, allowing for agility and stealth, something desperately necessary in guerilla tactics dealing with an army against one man.
User avatar #247 to #241 - pukingrainbows (08/13/2012) [-]
yea, thats what I was getting at. The suppression it would provide would be negligible at anything short of half a mile, which is about where it would stop being an effective combat choice in the first place. I think he's been playing too much cod.
User avatar #250 to #247 - gobnick (08/13/2012) [-]
indeed, silencers do muffle the sound, but not enough that it is comparable to the almost whisper silent sounds of a bow. and the fact that silencers and special ammo made for silenced weapons increase stopping power and effectiveness (within its reduced range) does not make up for giving away your position which possibly leads to your almost immediate death.

A sniper has a great deal of weight, and doesn't have good mobility.
Whereas a bow and arrow is lightweight, collapsable, with a pop-out scope, etc.
Also, you can re-collect your arrows after kills. You don't normally find sniper ammo just laying around in real life...

This reminds me of what happened this morning.
I was playing Fallout: New Vegas
Me and Boone were strolling around the Mojave Wasteland looking for some trouble.
I have lvl 100 energy weapons and my Laser Rifle with all the attachments in hand.
Then, I notice 3 Big Horners in the distance. 1 Young Big Horner and 2 older ones I assumed were it's parents.
I aim down the scope of my rifle and aim at one of the older Big Horners.
I pull the trigger and BOOM! Both of the parents explode in a giant green ball of energy. (I have the 'Meltdown' perk)
The young animal just stood there motionless with body parts of its parents raining down around it.
I walked away, not proud of my actions, but I knew that someday, somewhere that young big horner is going to get it revenge.
I have created BatHorn.
I never sleep alone now...

Fallout 1 & 2, one of the only RPG's where the weapons do the exact same damage no matter what level you are or how much skill you have in them.
User avatar #158 to #154 - exotic (08/13/2012) [-]
I'm playing through 2.
Well… You have greater accuracy with higher skill, making either more 'critical' body shots and effective range
User avatar #160 to #158 - thisotherdude (08/13/2012) [-]
Yes, the accuracy increases, but the damage stays exactly the same, for example if a guy with only about 30% in big guns and a guy with 300% fire a minigun (and they both hit), they'll both end up doing, lets say about 60 damage, the only difference is the lower gun only had about 20% chance to hit while the higher guy had a 90% chance to hit.
User avatar #164 to #154 - whiplasher (08/13/2012) [-]
Oh, god, yes, Fallout.

I hated the fact that I invested most of my skill points in Big Guns, thinking that the Minigun is the best weapon in game. Then I got a Gatling Laser. With only 40 points or so at Laser Weapons, I'd barely hit anything. But, man, it was damaging as hell.
User avatar #166 to #164 - thisotherdude (08/13/2012) [-]
Actually the best gun in the first fallout was the turbo powered plasma rifle.
User avatar #168 to #166 - whiplasher (08/13/2012) [-]
Yeah, I found about that later. I still prefer the Gatling Laser, though, simply because it was more...messy.
User avatar #169 to #168 - thisotherdude (08/13/2012) [-]
Can't argue with that.
