Personally, I would rather have a picture, that can be enlarged, and be seen great, than one that doesn't need to be enlarged, but it's only mediocre quality.

Isn't it obvious? Everyone knows that thunderstorms were invented and caused by Ben Franklin fighting Zeus over the true ruler of electricity.
User avatar #185 to #106 - disregardtheponies (08/05/2012) [-]
That would make an awesome Epic Rap Battles of History video...
#221 to #106 - ishouldplayzelda (08/05/2012) [-]
shouldn't that be tesla vs zeus? i mean, tesla did a lot more with electricity than benjamin franlkin did
i'm just sayin'

Let me explain the science, Ice crystals in certain kinds of clouds, create friction and thus get charged and it needs to get rid of it. Either through another cloud, or the ground.

Or, more favourable.
You.

i thought its because the charge becomes positive/negative(cant recall wich one) and then it is attracted by the opposite charge(negative/positive) wich then causes the energy to move in massive speed from space a to space b that causes massive heat and **** ......
#282 to #281 - berbercurlyhair (08/05/2012) [-]
Yes, that would be charging and dischraging, and that causes the heat.

Which forces to expand the air molecules, and the sudden lack of it to compress them, which causes the sound of thunder.
