Fourth one of the oblivion didn't progress like that actually.

It is a mage's guild quest. Guild master of the city tells you that somebody has been missing, you search him around the town and ask questions, then you find out he was last seen around the well, you get in to well and see him drown. You check him and you find a ring that weights 500 or something. Supposedly he drown from the weight.

Guild master of that town also left his room only in certain hours because he was planning something.

God i love oblivion games was so detailed. It's leveling system was flawed but you didn't even have to level, and rest of the game made up for it.

Guys. Skyrim is on sale, 50% off. Should I get it?
I've blown through enough money already, but would it be worth the $30?

You'll play it for a couple hours and really ******* enjoy yourself, and then around 10 hours in you'll get bored of all the same looking enemies and having to do a fetch quests for mister ******** in dwemer ruin #7012, so you'll get mods, and eventually you'll get bored at staring at lydias shiny tits, so you'll stop playing it.

I wish Skyrim had the AI of Knights of the Old Republic. I just want to have a conversation with my housecarl that goes beyond "I'm sworn to carry your mother ******* burdens." SHOW ME YOUR SOUL, LYDIA.

But seriously, it would be nice to be able to build relationships with important NPCs.

While I've never played Skyrim-- Though I'd like to-- the same could be said about most games nowadays.

I'd kill for a system like that in Mass Effect. I miss being able to have conversations that couldn't be hand-waved away in the end, where your teammates could love you or hate you based on your responses to them. Moreover still, more dialogue. I loved sitting through Canderous and HK-47's stories.

I liked the Dark Brotherhood questline. Though, killing the Emperor wasn't nearly as fun as it should have been. The man leads the entire Empire, which has conquered most of Tamriel by this point(?), and he just submits to you.

"Well ****, I told'em you can't stop the Dark Brotherhood. Might as well let you kill me. No really, go ahead, **** it."
