It looks oddly like synapses in a brain

No planet has been discovered past the kuiper belt, they only speculate that there is a planet/large object beyond it that throws comets into the solar system

This guy got a lot of these wrong

Too Lazy to point out more

OP

that was ******* awesome
#876 - anonymous (07/31/2012) [-]
couple problems
1. tyche is only a theory, and there is very little evidence to support that there is even a large body in the kuiper belt... a more popular theory is that tyche is actually a brown dwarf and the theory ties into the 2012 d-day theories
3. It is actually a white dwarf that is the left over of a massive star that compressed all the carbon created in fusion into diamonds and then blew the outer layers off of the diamond when its life ended.
5. tachyons and apart of a theory that is dying due to a pure lack of evidence
12. it is not an actual picture its a computer generated image, we are not capable of taking a picture of that large of an area of space and that kind of structure is called a super cluster, many of them exist and the milky way is apart of one (not sure of the name)
User avatar #892 to #876 - Turmoil (07/31/2012) [-]
Our galactic cluster is call the local group because we're just that creative.
User avatar #879 to #876 - srskate (07/31/2012) [-]
12. I am pretty certain that its a picture of an experiment they did to simulate the creation of the universe. They did some **** with gas and photographed it.
User avatar #884 to #879 - helltard (07/31/2012) [-]
no hes right, i saw it on the science channel, they used it on morgan freemans through the time hole or something, its cgi
User avatar #887 to #884 - srskate (07/31/2012) [-]
It must be true! Morgan Freeman never lies.
User avatar #890 to #887 - helltard (07/31/2012) [-]
EXACTLY!
#875 - alphadolan (07/31/2012) [-]
This **** seriously just trips my mind every time. I mean really if all that stuff is there what is our purpose?

Like we might never be able to see all of the universe. And it just makes you feel so small like an ant. I don't know it just gives me a weird feeling every-time i see stuff like this.
