Marry Njada or Aela from the companions.

Both mildy attractive
Both open shops, so same as Ysolda
Both companions
Invincible if married, so excellent companions
User avatar #64 to #62 - auesis (07/31/2012) [-]
Thank you, sir. If they're a merchant, you get access to their shop from your house, but that's about it.
User avatar #65 to #64 - drainbramage (07/31/2012) [-]
That's good then, I kinda wanted to marry someone with a kid and chase them for three hours a day. But Ysolda is the way to go for me!

Which one was Mjoll again? Unless they sell stuff I'm not very familiar with them, Kajiit sneak build, best decision I've made.

May sound a bit weird but I do similar things in Skyrim. Whenever I kill a high-profile character (Mercer Frey, Ulfric Stormcloak, etc.) I soul trap them. Then I use it to put an enchantment on the weapon I used/their weapon/article of clothing and display it in my house.

I like to use my enemies' souls as trophies.

I tried soul trapping Ulfric but whenever I tried the spell it just said he resisted the soul trap. I don't think it's possible unless it allows enchanted swords to soul trap him. But I did get Mercer however. He became an enchanted circlet.
User avatar #11 to #1 - shallowloqi (07/31/2012) [-]
I do some things to certain characters I kill in skyrim. If I kill someone who fought hard and to the end for their cause, whether it be a stormcloak soldier, guard in a dragon battle, or just a common NPC defending themselves from tyranny. I lay their bodies out in an honorable manner and put down a few flowers according to the region they died in. I do it as an honor for them dying for what they believed in or loved. I never do it for bandits or imperials or other people bent on evil. I still have the old habit of having good karma in games. So I like to lay people to rest in a nice way. And if I can, i'll dispose of them according to their race. If a redguard, I lay them next to their armor, if nord, I try to set them down a river with flowers, etc etc.
User avatar #93 to #11 - captainrattrap (07/31/2012) [-]
Holy **** that's alot of effort. I just pick up the bodies and put them in fires.
#14 to #11 - anon (07/31/2012) [-]
wait, I thought imperials were the good guys
User avatar #34 to #14 - shallowloqi (07/31/2012) [-]
Imperials want to tax and do a lot of stuff to Skyrim. While the stormcloaks want to keep it a free province, but they're also a little bit racist. I'd call the stormcloaks the good guys in my opinion.
User avatar #124 to #34 - wrongneighborhood (07/31/2012) [-]
Well think about it. If the Stormcloaks won, they still wouldn't be strong enough to face the Aldmeri Dominion, and neither would the Empire. If the Empire reunified Skyrim, Morrowind, and Black Marsh, they could do all of this while still within the terms of the White-Gold Concordat, and then consolidate their forces (with Hammerfell) to take down the dominion. THEN Ulfric and Tulius and all those politicians could settle their petty squabbles during a peaceful time. Honestly, Ulfric could not have picked a ******* worse time to start a rebellion. Dragons and Thalmor, Dragons and Thalmor everywhere. That's just the way I see it.
User avatar #113 to #34 - anonymouslive (07/31/2012) [-]
Depends which race you're playing. If you're a Mer race, Kahjit or Argonian, The Imperials are more just. If you're a Nord, then Stormcloaks. I find Red guards and Orcs can choose either, though.
User avatar #175 to #113 - shallowloqi (07/31/2012) [-]
Orcs have always been in the Empire. And Redguards fought the empire and won their independence.
User avatar #192 to #175 - anonymouslive (07/31/2012) [-]
Then I stand corrected. I was going off of the racism of the nords. They seem to hate all elfs, the Kajit's and the Argonians. Don't seem to care about redguards or Orcs though.
#170 to #11 - postalduckling (07/31/2012) [-]
Damn, I thought I was extremely nice in games. Elder Scrolls in specific, I think the nicest thing I've done was after killing the Skooma addict I duplicated my Skooma and buried him in it. Normally I have a habit of leaving my victims in the nude, which may or may not be because of the Demon of the Desert
User avatar #114 to #11 - tropius (07/31/2012) [-]
I hate Nords after doing the Forsworn Conspiracy quest in Markarth.
User avatar #98 to #11 - admiralen ONLINE (07/31/2012) [-]
why not imperials? the stormcloaks are just thalmor puppets, imperials just want some peace to build their forces before the war with the thalmor is on again
User avatar #104 to #98 - shallowloqi (07/31/2012) [-]
I just don't like how they want to tax Skyrim. I feel that if the stormcloaks rule, they will be called on by the empire to fight the thalmor one day. The same with Hammerfell, being one of the only independent provinces from the empire.

By the nine divines! What did you just say about this thread, you little skeeverbutt? I'll have you know I graduated top of my class in the College of Winterhold, and I've been know to cast one hell of a fireball, and I have over 300 confirmed summons. I am trained in daedric warfare and I'm the swords master of the entire Imperial forces. You are nothing to me but just another target. I will make you beg to Akatosh as I bend you over like a common whelp, mark my words, on my oath as the Dovahkiin. You think you can come into my mind though this magic device and insult me? Think again, scum. As we speak I have every assassin and thief across all of Tamriel looking for your initial position so you better prepare for the storm atronach, you drauger. The storm atronach that wipes out the pathetic little husk you call your life. I can be anywhere, anytime, and I can kill you in over seven hundred ways, and that's just with my dragon shouts! Not only am I extensively trained in archery and horseback riding, but I have access to the entire congregation of the thieves guild, dark brotherhood, Mages college, and untold hordes of deadric warriors, and I will use every one of them to banish you to the plane of oblivion.. If only you could have had the clairvoyance to see what divine retribution your little "clever" runes were about to bring down upon you, maybe you would have held your tongue you dark skin. But you couldn't, you didn't, and now you're paying the price, you goddamn idiot. I will become the embodiment of Mehrunes Dagon, and open a portal to oblivion the likes of which you have never seen. You're ******* dead, milk-drinker.

I don't get why the people of Skyrim assemble their armies out of children.

Scratch that, they should send an army made out of just Braith. She'll irritate/belittle the dragon to death before he can even try to land a hit, and that wouldn't do anything anyway BECAUSE YOU CAN'T KILL THE LITTLE ***** .
