Ahh **** , another one of these post. Whatever, I like the new Pokemon, the games are still fun and I look forward to B/W 2. Enjoy what you choose to enjoy.

I totally agree. I really like his designs. And he's pretty kickass too. I used to hate the new gen, but I gave it a chance and the game itself is actually fantastic.

Gen 3 was my favorite. I personally thought that the 1st gen was bland. Gen 3 though, was ******* awesome.

i dont give a **** if the new generation's re ridicules, its more gameplay. I mean il stick a blue tomato in my ear if it sounds good

This is completely accurate. I hate all this people who say that 1st gen is the best and all the rest suck. Pokemon is Pokemon, so I don't give a **** about what the pokemon look like, I'm ******* buying it and playing it.

finally a cool anon, as myself i do have a fav gen, but the others are good too.

if putting one gen only then face players with mixed teams like myself, and they hate the other gens so much they wont even know **** about them, like this scenario,

your opponent uses a strong psychic type, most of his attacks are capale of taking down your entire team, it APPEARS like you are using a poison type, easy pick for a psychic attack, but if your opponent is unaware what Zoroark can do they will use a psychic attack without using a more of a neutral attack to check if it actually is the real deal, which i do everytime i face a trainer that have a zoroark. his attack fails, and you get a free hit leaving your opponent confused about why the apparently super effective attack failed, yet there are advantages with the 1gen too, my own team on pkmn white is more or less all gen team maybe some gens not included but heck, its a good team.

although i liked it when gen 1 came out.. i still enjoy pokemon moth the show and games.

and i can safely say after one and a half decade with pokemon. i have yet to be disappointed, yet there are somehtings im not used to yet, like Team ROcket blasts off with jetpacks... but its a cool twist instead of the same old "blasting off" it got kind of... expectable every episode. so new twists are good.

well for story and challenge it was Johto the gym leaders there were good, and much of the areas were great, plus you could go to Kanto and challenge the gym leaders there as well making the league even stronger if u beat all kanto leaders.

as for the plot and storyline sapphire and ruby was great, in B/W its okay but too much " straight forward". however awesome effect but i miss hoenns' battle frontier. the pokemon themselves i must say either gen 1 or 2. while the designs were best in black and white. the bad thing about hoenn though was the melody after beating the league it wasnt the one that makes you feel like you accomplished like " congratiolations you beat the league and the champion" but rather, " oh great you won, now do it again" .

however the game with the biggest plot and storyline i must say was pokemon colosseum and pokemon XD gale of darkness. finding all shadow pokemon, purifying them and then like in gae of darkness beat the best of the best in a big colosseum that you find after you beat the main storyline. like a pokemon league unlocked for purifying Lugia.

I'm a fan of all the genres, but my favorite is III (emerald, ruby and sapphire)

It has the same primitiveness of the first two genres, but doesn't have all the complicated **** that's in the latest 2 genres.

I mean seriously, what the **** is with all these things. Used to be, all you did was fight until they evolved. Now you have to evolve them at a certain time, they have to like them a certain way or slap there belly 3 times and give them a reach-around.

It's ******* weird.

User avatar #93 to #83 - whiplasher (07/26/2012) [-]
Actually, there's nothing stopping from ignoring all that **** . Although if you want to play need to do those things.

I had absolutely no problem play through white the same way I play diamond, emerald, krystal, yellow, red, and fire red. The only issue I had was I felt bored in fifth gen, I though it was cuz I already played so much pokemon before it, but I still can easily pour hundreds of hours into yellow, emerald, fire red, or krystal and still enjoy every minute of it.
