Without windows, there would be no ipad. Fact: Bill gates created the first tablet, and gave steve jobs the idea to create one himself, because apple was more anticipated than windows, so it might have sold better. And it did.

So basically, Apple had permission to copy windows. Samsung did not have permission to copy anyone. I'm not saying apple is better or anything, but I'm saying they have the right to express the fact they are copying them.

I guess some of you wouldn't care about this because half of you repost, sadly , which is kinda the same thing as this.

Although it is true that Apple didn't invent the Tablet (they weren't even close), but Microsoft wasn't either. IBM invented the first tablet computer over 20 years ago.

The thing is, in modern technology everybody copies someone, but might improve upon it, and most of the time nobody gives a **** . Apple on the other hand thinks that they are gods gift to mankind and tries to protect every product they sale, regardless of the fact they haven't come up with an original idea... ever.

Yeah sure but you gotta give them credit for the minor features they add to their stuff. Like the Macbook for example, its very good quality and viruses almost never ruin it.

thats because nobody makes viruses to run on macs

Thing is the minor features are pretty much mox nix. Lets take your two examples, good quality and lack of viruses.

All Macbooks are made by a chinese company called foxconn. In the very same factory, Asus computers are made along with several other big name computers, making the quality equal to those of most other companies.

Although it is true that there are less viruses for Mac, they are not invulnerable by any means. In fact in a colab report done by CNET and McAfee, the number of known viruses for Mac are at an all time high and increasing tenfold per month. (Not to mention that technically, OSX is one of the least secured operating systems on the market for the past decade)

On hacking contests there's no suprise on the rankings, Mac is the first one to fall, followed by windows and finally by linux.
This guy Miller got paid $50000 by <unnamed government agency> for finding a linux exploit.

the worst part of the entire thing, the exploit used for the mac was used in the NEXT YEARS contest as well. It really looks like security the the highest priority for Apple -_-
