Does liking a picture of an African baby just because some swagged up like whore tells you to like it in three seconds make a difference?

Yes I think so.
Because if you like something, all your FB friends see it in their feed. And then some of them click like, too. That way many people get aware of an issue.

That was how the world became aware of Mubarak in Egypt and supported his removal. Also the slaughter of stray dogs in the Ukraine for the football championship went viral that way and was stopped.

And I also see what you mean There are some whores on FB that use these topics to collect likes to later promote products. That is BS.

I do agree that the internet is amazing for getting good causes across to the world, hell if Kony 2012 was legit that would be the most groundbreaking viral ever.
I just disagree with how causes like this are objectified nowadays, these are serious matters going on in the world and these pussies are using them to their advantage to improve self-image and popularity, the world is truly a ****** up place once you think about it with enough detail
