Clearly CoD is better than battlefield. Mw3 sold more copies than BF3.

All other factors aside, I enjoy playing CoD more than Battlefield. I'm playing an action game, so I like the one with faster paced action over the one where you run for 5 minutes to get to the action, only to get killed by a kamikaze helicopter pilot.

How does copies sold affect it? To measure quality, it should incorporate how many of those were then returned. You can't know if a game is good without playing it. I am one of those people who continue to hope the next cod won't be horrific. So for the last 5 games, I have purchased then returned them. I haven't returned BF: BC, BF:BC 2 or BF3.

What does that say about game quality?

As I've mentioned I've played and currently own both games. MW3 is the more enjoyable game and for that reason it has sold more copies

better graphics, runs smoother, better sound, battlefield premium kicks the **** out of cod elite, not 10 foot knife lunge, no camping, greater variety in nearly every aspect. need i keep going?

The camping part is actually not true, but people don't bitch about it because it's usually people with recon who use it which is more realistic

I agree that it's more realistic, but it's much less fun. I've played battlefield too and there still are campers and the whole game is slower paced. CoD is fast gun on gun action and there's a reason so many people enjoy that more. No matter how realistic battlefield is if it's not a fun game it's clearly not going to sell as much.

if you met a camper, you dont just run toward him guna blazing like in cod. you can **** the whole area around him with a grenade, rpg, tank, a damn helicopter. frostbite 2, heard of it?

the only reason cod sells more copys is because the franchise lives off the success of cod 4. people are always hoping that the next cod game will be better than the last. but in reality, each game after cod4 just kept getting worse. in mw3 doesnt it piss you off that 2 shots to your shin from 100 meters (are the maps even that big?) kills you?

i used to play cod, but i swithed to battlefield because cod is the most rage enducing game ever created

I'll admit I do get mad at CoD and battlefield is a fun game sometimes, but I generally enjoy CoD more especially when you're the one pissing people off

Prove me wrong then. Why would more people buy a worse game?

Because:
a) Call of Duty is a more widely known franchise than Battlefield
b) People continue to think that the next game will be good
c) People can't find a better alternative to suit their needs than Call of Duty despite not liking it all that much.

It's more well known because it's a better game. And don't try to use an argument about justin beiber being well known, because music =/= video games

You can't really try and tell me not to use a counter argument, that isn't really how it works.

>implying nobody on battlefield is retarded
I've bought both MW3 and BF3 and I enjoy MW3 much more. Yes, battlefield is more realistic but that's one of the least important things in a video *game*.

ah yes that may be but i prefer the realism more than the super-knife crap
