Invulnerable: Can't be killed, still die of natural causes.
Immortal: Can be killed, but can't die of natural causes.
The way I see it, swallowing a ******** of angry wasps isn't a natural death.

Fairly sure immortal means not mortal, aka unable to die. Invulnerable means impervious to harm

**** the immortality, I'm terrified of bees and would pour that down the sink, followed by strong acid, then I would burn down the whole house and finally nuke the entire site just to make sure that stuff's gone.

if you're immortal, you still can die.
Immortal = you can live forever, NOT you cannot die, understand?
for example, plants are immortal. but you can still kill a plant.

no, you are wrong. Immortal means you can not die and you dont live forever.

The danish word for immortal means 'cannot die'. Either the translation is wrong, or ive been lied to

Immortal means not mortal. Isnt mortal coming from muerte, which means death?
which means you cant "death".

i'm pretty sure plants aren't immortal. sure, there are some that live for ******** of time (the oldest being the Pando at 80,000 years old) but they still have a lifespan. take annual plants. they die every year.
just because plants can live 10,000 or more years, doesn't mean they live forever as there's no way to prove that. it is all speculation

plants are biologically immortals.
if you put a plant in an ottimal condition (ground with the right pH, enough water, right temperature, no dangerous insects/bacteria etc. and you make this parameters last forever, the plant will live forever.
this because plants regenerates their parts (if someone cuts your head you will die, if someone cuts the top of a plant il will still grow).
annual plants can't bear cold/heat so they die annually.

that's all, folks!

and i still don't think you can call them immortal because giving them perfect conditions and making those conditions last infinitely is physically impossible. one way or another it's going to die eventually.
i could use the same argument for humans. even though we don't regrow all of our parts and regenerate, you could put someone in cryo-stasis and preserve them. now if you do that for an infinite amount of time and manage to keep them alive that whole time, then wouldn't they be immortal as well?

TL:DR humans are no more immortal than plants. to make them last longer than their natural lifespan takes attention and resources. it is physically impossible to make either of them live for an infinite amount of time under these optimal conditions because you cannot maintain these conditions for an infinite amount of time.

picture meant jokingly. not as an insult

Considering I don't know what "Inmortal" is, probably not.

The file photoshop works with, has the different layers etc. I can't take this image and edit because I don't have the original, otherwise I'd just chop it up and it would be ugly

Technically, 'in' means "not" as a Latin root, the same as 'im'. It's still technically the same as immortal, but it isn't classified as a word.
