dropping atomic bombs on japan was to end a long and very bloody war

9/11 was an unprovoked act of terroism.

And any country would be angry that their country was attack like that and many innocent people died because of it. Every country is sensitive about their national tragedies like that

Yes but the attack was also on the innocent, people that had no control over their government's actions. Same as 9/11.

both the Americans and Japenese attack civilians durring the World War 2, (ever heard about the Rape of Naking and other things the Japenese did in the pacific theatre)

America was in peace time and then out of the blue one beauitful sunny day in september, four 747s were hijacked and crashed and thousands of people died

So? There was still suffering involved on both sides, if anyone gets offended by 9/11 jokes yet makes jokes about Hiroshima or Tsunamis then they have no right to be offended.

i guess i'm one of those people who doesn't find the humor in people suffering and dying
history (especially tragedies of any people) is something to be remembered, and be used to avoid our pasts mistakes. It shouldn't be used as an excuse to justify the murdering of innocents

You don't need to find it funny, that's fine. All I'm saying is that people that get all butthurt over 9/11 jokes and are find with tsunami jokes, and hiroshima jokes need to shut the **** up.
User avatar #252 to #247 - nerdrugger (07/10/2012) [-]
well you cant really do anything about those people.

the only reason i made my original commented and didnt just ignore it was because of the comment conversation down below, where the person that posted the picture said that the attacks on 9/11 was a response by the terroist for the invasion of Iraq. when 9/11 happen a few years before Iraq was invaded. so that was why i was i replied to him saying what i said, that the atomic bombs were used to cause terror to end a horrible war. While the attacks on 9/11 was done while america was at peace with the middle east.
it rustles my jimmies when people don't get their facts straight on history

all countries have their share of bad history, but that doesn't justify murdering innocent people.

So that we could end the war which would take the lives of countless others...
9/11 was an attack outside of war.
I would complain too, plus Japan still complains about the bombs just as much as America does about 9/11.

(excuse me for spelling mistakes) Now, 9/11 was not an attack outside of a war.
The war was in Iraq where the allmyghty Šµmpror of the world George W. Bush ****** it up bad and they struck back the only possible way they could.Seriously the U.S.A. and almost every other government should BURN TO THE ******* GROUND

using uranium 235, your point being?
User avatar #234 to #183 - redcookiemonster (07/10/2012) [-]
actually the uranium bomb wasnt developed until later on in our nations history, around the 70's it was perfected. the bombs we used on hiroshima and nagasaki were Hydrogen bombs. but none the less you are right. americans have no right to complain for it was desert storm that caused it all.
User avatar #245 to #234 - microfan **User deleted account** (07/10/2012) [-]
hydrogen bombs were developed later. And the biggest H bomb or any bomb was dropped by the russians it was called the Tzar Bomba(the king of bombs) it was 50 megatons.
