yep, not an add tho, part of the comic lol
User avatar #127 to #114 - ButtonFly ONLINE (07/09/2012) [-]
That's how they explained how Mandy and Grim had kids. Mandy slept with someone and then went and got an abortion. They said that by this logic all of the aborted children of the world are technically Grim's children but he only regards Mini Mandy and Grim Jr. as actually his.

Death is natural. It does not take sides.

I should write a book which contains this sentence and everybody on the internet will use it.

Or the debt will kill me that I get for a failed book.

I love these comics, but this one gives me an issue.
Many of the Interpretations of Death, be it the Grim Reaper or Angel of Death, or many others, is not an evil character. Death is a necessary part of life, and the Reaper is the facilitator of it, he is a guide to the appropriate afterlife.
I'm Atheist (technically Agnostic, cause I don't deny the possibility, but I live my life as an Atheist), which I don't wanna get into craziness about, just sayin' cause I don't actively believe in an Entity of Death. With that said, I find the many depictions of Death immensely fascinating, the Grim Reaper being my favorite.
#66 to #64 - anon (07/09/2012) [-]
Everyone is aware that death isn't a real entity, and everyone knows by now that if death were an entity he would be neutral.
It's just a ******* joke.
User avatar #67 to #66 - Syfen (07/09/2012) [-]
No, not everyone is aware of that, many people still believe in a death entity.
and I know it's a joke, I didn't mean to come off as complaining, I just wanted to share my thoughts.

"I have an offer in mind."
User avatar #72 to #68 - Syfen (07/09/2012) [-]
is that from the game
I never played it
User avatar #73 to #72 - dragontaming (07/09/2012) [-]
Yes. I don't think it's even out yet though. It's just the only actual dialogue in the E3 trailer
User avatar #76 to #73 - Syfen (07/09/2012) [-]
oh, a'ight.
AH< the four horsemen of the Apocalypse, another great image
User avatar #70 to #64 - Hreidmar (07/09/2012) [-]
The best interpretation of the Grim Reaper I've come across is in Terry Pratchett's Discworld. By far not a negative character.
User avatar #74 to #70 - Syfen (07/09/2012) [-]
dude, IDK why, but in the past month, Discworld keeps popping up all over the place for me, and I have no idea what it is, but it seems like something I'd love. it's ******* weird how I've never even heard of it, then BAM, everywhere
User avatar #75 to #74 - Hreidmar (07/09/2012) [-]
Well... perhaps it's catching on. Which is good, because it is a magnificent series of books. Incredible satire and comedy.
User avatar #78 to #75 - Syfen (07/09/2012) [-]
should I start from the first one?
User avatar #79 to #78 - Hreidmar (07/09/2012) [-]
Either from the first one (The Colour of Magic) or from the 8th one (Guards! Guards!)

See, the whole series is around 50 books now, but it's divided into subplots as well. The Witches, the Wizards, The City Watch, and Random. (more or less.) Of the four, I like City Watch the most. It's the most satirical and often has very subtly deep meanings. Guards! Guards! is the first book in the Watch subplot.
User avatar #81 to #79 - Syfen (07/09/2012) [-]
sweet
I'm prolly gunna start from the beginning
User avatar #82 to #81 - Hreidmar (07/09/2012) [-]
