>Playing as Mage
>Get all Daedric artifacts besides Namira's ring
>Have them all + 5 dragon masks + all my other stuff in Breezehome
>Come back to Breezehome one day
>All containers have reset deleting everything I had on a lvl 35 character
>Rage of a trillion suns burning inside
>Calmly search up how to get Namira's ring (I had planned on getting them all legit)
>Start new file

Battlemage here. One-handed, destruction, alteration, restoration. :3

I did the same, just Without alteration and restoration.
Second character is Two handed, heavy armor archer.
I never found my restoration or other magics went up enough to be of use, though. Destruction seemed to be where it's at.

Well, I use the magic more than the sword. I have magic in both hands about 40% of the time.

Destruction is great, but dual-cast Oak/Stone/Iron/Ebonyflesh spells + dual-cast Fast Heal when needed = invincible :3

I usually did too, but after I beat most questlines, I attemped to do one handed, and all I can say is 100% destruction reduction, max enchanting to enchant two daedra swords, both with Life steal and One with Fire, one with Lightning. I'm sorry, but those wreck, even more than any magic I saw could do. Could take out most people or creatures in 1-2 hits.

I used to do that. Then I got some magicka-balanced spell mods. Walls of fire that do massive damage per second to anyone in them, eruptions of fire under people's feet, force grip/push/pull (Jedi style), waves of ice that form glaciers of frozen territory in their path, lightning that mass paralyses groups, teleportation, summoning meteors, blowing up corpses to do explosive damage, turning targets in to walking time bombs...yeah, there's a reason I don't use swords all the time :3

Yeah, I have it for xbox, so no mods, sadly. I need to get a better computer before I start playing a lot on it. And even still, I'd use an Xbox controller for Skyrim and games like that.

Yeah it had a steeper learning curve than weapon based characters but once you get your magicka up super high you just decimate everything!

I noticed that.
I Started just being a mage, and it was really easy having the destruction dual cast stuns. Just max enchanting, destruction on all, then just stun lock. But, makes it hard for many enemies. Like, Fighting a bunch of mages would take me a death or two.

The G.O.A.T is really an aptitude test, not for your career, but to determine if you are worthy to enter Goat Tower.

You are not prepared.

I murdered Ulfric Stormcloak with extreme prejudice. The Stormcloaks are prejudiced, racist assholes who can't realize that the Empire is the only thing keeping Skyrim safe.

On the arrow one, that is to represent the chance that your arrow broke inside them, or was lodged in some way, preventing its reuse

I think Bloody Mess is a good perk if you're going for all-out damage. Just my opinion, I always take it when I play as a sniper.

Anyway, good comp, have a thumb.

I find it kind of anoyying really. its fun for awhile then I get bored of it and remove it. Its also a hassle at times when it just explodes.

it doesnt just cause explosions, also adds 5% damage to attacks

I know that.

But its still rather anoyying at times when you cant find the damn body to loot.

Agreed, the 5% is nice, but then again, if you have a weapon that deals 100 DMG it will increase that to 105, not that much a difference, since you will almost never find weapons with over 100 DMG, commonly at least.
And I like the effect of not having the perk, it makes blowing someone's skull to fragments all the more satisfying with all of their flailing limbs still attached.
