And this book ( plus numerous others , which have been hitting the shelves in recent years ) also make me question women's motives ........

Let's take a genre of literature , say sci fi which is predominantly male oriented . Most of these books have strong female characters who are confident , smart , beautiful and generally not even interested in the main male character you identify with .

On the other hand , these books which women are identifying with ( most chick lit , not just the porno ones ) , all have guys who are ****** up beyond repair , creepy from most perspectives , in utter pain and best of all , heads over heel over the female lead .

Do women realize how ****** up this is ? Do women really , secretly get wet over our misery ?

Actually it's been proving that while men get more sexually aroused by visual porn females tend to become more aroused reading erotica.

To the certain extent I don't really like to watch porn, fake moans, fake boobs ,monster cocks, and close up of genitals can be annoying or boring sometimes. Reading erotica is much more arousing , and leave you with euphoria and impression in your mind for a long time.

I have the Barnes & Noble app on my phone, and so does my mom.

We share accounts.

The app syncs whatever page/bookmark you have/are on for everyone.

Haven't used it in a while, and when I finally used the app, I noticed this book was in my library.

I wasn't sure if my mom knew what the book was about, so I clicked the book seeing if she read any of it.

. . .

She had all the sex parts bookmarked.

**** my life.

I find it somehow odd that women love a book where the male lead is a creepy son of a crack-whore who is essentially a rapist.
Then I remember that women don't make sense.

As a woman that both likes porn and literotica, Fifty Shades of Gray is complete **** and should be burned on sight.

I'm a guy but I tried to read it out of curiosity ( plus , didn't want to criticize without looking )

After about 2 or 3 pages it had a line referring to a black guy as "african american male" , in a frigging inner monologue !!

That's when I lost all respect for the book ( not very much to begin with to be honest ) , and put it down . I mean who among us uses the phrase "African American male" inside their own ******* head ?

What kind of a audience is it even targeting ? One that loves to read bondage porn yet is offended by " black guy " ?
