I know, it's ******* annoying. I don't even see why someone would care if they rolled this. Honestly, how would anyone react to rolling that? Just "Oh, okay."

I might start playing Assassins Creed. Ya I know "ermergerd u havnt pled sasins cred, fuk u"

Is it a game series you have to play from the first one to get the rest of the story?
Or can I just start from the second one or Brotherhood and still know whats going on?
#51 to #39 - sacrilegious (07/05/2012) [-]
Okay! Also in the first game, when you're playing as Desmond, and they send you to bed, to explore and learn crap. No one told me I could go anywhere, so I just went to bed...every single time.
#52 to #51 - sacrilegious (07/05/2012) [-]
**go explore the lab
#87 to #39 - anon (07/05/2012) [-]
As the others said, start from the beginning. The first game may seem extremely redundant after a little while, but it is worth it in the end to know the story. It gets much better gameplay wise after the first game, but it is still very fun.

I only played the first and brotherhood, and I just read up on it on wikipedia.
User avatar #143 to #39 - starvaggi (07/05/2012) [-]
Start from the second one. The rest explain the first one well enough so you don't have to.

Also, the second is the most fun. Brotherhood's great too. Revelations is just brotherhood in a different city, so it is fun but gets old quicker.
#92 to #39 - anon (07/05/2012) [-]
gotta start from the beginning or you won't be able to follow the really is rather immersing..kinda makes you look at reality a little bit and search for clues of templar-type influence...or maybe im taking it too seriously?...idk, im high
#102 to #92 - anon (07/05/2012) [-]
don't worry man, i do it too....and i love how they found all the tiniest holes in history, and just through ezio in them flawlessly without altering history...and all the things with the apples make sense when you read about who had control of them.
#63 to #39 - Rageguyftw (07/05/2012) [-]
Start up from the first one so you know what it's all about. :D

Also if you do all the Brutus quests you get this armor and a new dagger. On the last one make sure you talk to an Architect because you can't get in any other way until the entrance is repaired!

I had the Brutus armor on and then I switched back to my old armor. But I can't wear it again, do you know how to equip the Brutus armor again once you've unequipped it?
User avatar #42 to #39 - sinclare (07/05/2012) [-]
You absolutely positively must start from the first one and work your way up. Otherwise, you'll be extremely confused. Every Assassins Creed game starts at the exact point where the last one left off.
#45 to #39 - anon (07/05/2012) [-]
Start with the first one. Trust me. It's fun and helps for when you play Revelations or otherwise you will be very confused.
User avatar #100 to #39 - jakerfv (07/05/2012) [-]
You could start from 2 and work your way up to brotherhood, then play the first one and then play revelations. I advice it like that because I think 2 is the best one and it's the most user friendly but still manages to be challenging. 3 (brotherhood not the new one coming out) is hard if you don't play the others, the first game is pretty basic and straightforward, not really that much.

So to recap: assassins creed 2, brother hood (3) and revelations (4) you play as a game named ezio auditore (i can't spell it), games take place all around Europe but mainly Italy as a starting place as I recall correctly, I wont spoil any of the storyline.

Tthe first game you play as another assassin many years before ezio, there's a few cross references but (I haven't beaten it yet though) revelations ties everything up because revelations has you playing as both assassins so I guess you could play it from start to finish, but you really could just play 2-3 and then play 1 then 4, like I said, 2 is user friendly and fun to start off with.

Kakuzu, you're going to get yourself killed saying things like that on fiunnyjunk.

As for your question, I highly recommend starting from number one... Honestly it's just the best way to enjoy the story, I don't know how else to put it. Enjoy your playthrough. :)

If I was talking about a dangerous assassin, and said assassin decides to give me money to shut up I'll take it. I mean, **** , he's an assassin. He could kill me easily. Instead he's giving me money.
