Most people who argue on the internet in general argue to win, and not to take respective input from their peers to edit and adjust their opinion when a valid point comes into play, so it's not like thumbs is entirely necessary.

I'd rather argue to take in valid points than thumbs and false glory. That's why I'm neutral against everything.

By the same token, most people who say 'I am prepared for red thumbs' do so to get other people to thumb them up in conflict with would-be down-voters.

Ok its almost all the time funnyjunkers will say 'I know im gonna get red thumbs for saying this but' or 'Im prepared to get thumbed down' when really its just thumbwhoring. You dam well know that when you say that you get those feelfags who thumb you up. Don't contradict yourself next time.
