Actually, real Germans don't sound angry when they are talking...

Just think about it... about 95% of all the German we hear is NAZIS in movies/ tv /videogames... usually yelling at Jews or some **** ..

We just associate the language with angry nazis :D

Actually, I am moderately proficient with the German language myself and have had many conversations with native and non-native German speakers. The German language is really not all that guttural and isn't any more angry sounding than English. Phonetically English and German are incredibly similar languages... to people with no exposure to either languages, typically say they can't tell the difference between the two.
