They didn't die, they were just flung off the mountain saide, but landed in snow and was buried. But that's no problem for a firebender, they melted themselves free and retreated. Aang never killed anybody, deal with it !

Sokka on the other hand killed Combustion Man...

Here's a fun fact guys.

Actual monks in Asia developed different fighting styles in defense of their temples. They only use their knowledge for defense.

Actually, theres a difference between killing and ********* . If you are forced to defend yourself, that would be killing. If someone was helpless and weak, that would be ********* .

I guess someone has to say it.

First off it wasn't ****** , he was defending himself and a temple.

Second, the reason he didn't kill the firelord is because after all the
fighting the firelord was left helpless and weak. Aang isn't cruel.

y'know, technically the only character to ever actually be killed during the show was that assassin guy hired by Zuko. everyone else just seems to be knocked unconscious, captured, or already dead beforehand.

Technically, being fire benders, I doubt they can die from an avalanche. They can just melt it through, so tbh they have quite a good chance of survival.

Just snow. I don't think they died.

Anyway, it's not religion, it's a cultural/spiritual thing.

Maybe a part of the Air Nomad religion thing allows them to kill in defence of their temples? Aangs master guy did it as well, remember. (I can't remember his name.)

Air bending isn't a religion. Each of the 4 nations has different ways of doing things and different views. Killing people is against his Air bender ways/philosophy/code of conduct/culture/ etc., but not religion.

I don't think snow can be that much a problem to firebenders..

cartoon logic: It's not a ****** if they died off screen

Who says the died? And there's a difference between killing someone in defense in the heat of the moment and killing someone once they were defeated and had their power taken away. The former is killing, the latter is straight up ****** . And it wasn't his religion, not once did he say it was because of his religion, isn't atheists that say don't kill people not to avoid hell but to simply not kill someone? Do try to make it a religious thing ******* .

Airbender's teachings of moral beliefs are not considered a religion. It's just their way of life.
