I read something interesting a while ago.
it was believed that our memories were inherited from our ancestors.
and there was an experiment that was done on rats. They took a female rat, and put her in a maze with cheese at the end, until she memorized the entire maze.
then they took her offspring and separated them from her right after birth.
and they divided them into groups, group 1 was put in the maze right away, and they showed that the baby rats found the correct path over 90% of the time, and group 2 were put there after a couple of weeks and found their way 50% of the time, group 3 were put there after a month and they almost knew nothing about the maze.

the numbers aren't correct, but you get the idea

Fact: Humans are the only mammals whose offspring is stupid enough to start loudly blaring right after birth, thus alerting any and all predators to the scene of the easy bait.

As a child, around the age of 4-6, I would always tell my mom about my past life. I would talk about how I was a teenage boy, but when I was in the woods with a few friends, a branch snapped in a tree I was climbing, and I fell, breaking my neck. As a four year old I told my mom what it was like to be in a paralyzed state. I also apparently said a few things about how I missed one of my friends, a girl who used to live near me.

I know if my son started saying things about dying and the afterlife to me, and his past life, I would probably just keel over of a heart attack on the spot. Must have been freaky for me to be saying stuff like that when I was so young.

I also told her what it was like when you are "ending", and apparently I said some stuff about the afterlife. I kind of remember "images" that aren't from things I've experienced, but I wouldn't put much weight on them, it could just be me sub consciously putting a picture to the story. It's likely all one big coincidence, though. Still, it's kind of interesting to hear about, and apparently there are stories of really young kids who wouldn't have been exposed to thing such as paralyzed people describing what it was like with no experience at all with anybody who is paralyzed. The same goes for talking about dying.

So yeah. I wonder if anybody else on Funnyjunk had experiences like I had (talking about past lives, getting paralyzed, and dying in detail).

Holy **** , maybe people with split-personality disorder are just receptive to the consciousnesses of themselves from one or more of their past lives O_O

Babies scream a lot because they are in pain all over their new growing body and they can't do anything about it.
